"I've had a consistently frustrating experience with Valve's inconsistent double standard and confusing braindead logic in terms of how they manage all submitted content, whether it be games submitted to sale or who gets punished for what in terms of users and whether or not content is allowed, in fact they actively contradict their own rules at times and those things are painfully vague. So I realised that reminded me of a certain scene from SP, and decided to make this meme.

Like, seriously, Steam's inconsistencies are absolutely baffling, Popular SFW artistic story driven Visual Novels have been denied sale, meanwhile Steam actively allows an entire series of shock value shovel porn named "Sex With Hitler" and hasn't banned a single entry from that series or any of the similar games like "Sex With Stalin" and "Furry Hitler", and trolls who were actively stalking and harassing me unprovoked barely received a slap on the risk and I wasn't allowed to re-report them when they later tried to hunt me down on other platforms and defame me without any reason or evidence, meanwhile Steam has banned me in the past for saying to to feed the trolls and discouraging people from engaging with a user posting bait attempting to cause a flame war (Because apparently trying to keep things Civil and avoiding uneeded drama with trolls counts as "Naming And Shaming"), and basically have never had Steam Support be remotely helpful outside of issues regarding theft

Anyway yeah, this scene from Margaritaville perfectly sums up the painfully stupid random nature of management Steam has in these areas, Valve is certainly one of my favourite companies overall due to their unique strengths and such, but while I'd place them far ahead of a large number of other AAA companies they're still certainly no saints, as when it comes to communication and moderation they're incredibly frustrating, and they barely make games anymore.
