AMERICAN FBAC LCT MK7

The FBAC, also known as Fast Beach Assault Craft, is a large light weight, well protected Tank Landing Craft.
This was built for captaincockerels landing craft challenge

It can carry up to 2 M4 sized/weighted tanks or a plethora of infantry to storm the enemy beaches.

The craft can cruise at a speed of 40kts with full load. During windy conditions its advised to slow down and take your time.
It is propelled by 2 water jets which are powered by 2 medium sized 1x1 modular engines.

The priced of this boat is just under $100,000 ingame currency. And is refueable.

This craft only has 5km of range in windy conditions and 10km in normal conditions.
This is loosely based off real life ww2 LCT vehicles.

The operation of this vehicle is quite simple. Nearly everything is labelled.

W/S - W will move you forwards while S will move you backwards.

A/D - Be gentle with this as it has a very sharp turn radius.

Up/Down - This is your vertical trim. The more you pitch up the more efficient the craft becomes. However, in windy conditions it can lead to flipping if you turn too quickly while pitched up.

Trigger - this will deploy the Ramp for vehicles to be loaded or unloaded.

1 - Will activate the forward facing fog lights.

Behind the helm there is a hatch to the engine bay. This engine bay provides easy access to all the logic to make repairing damage easy. There are 3 small bilge pumps to remove any fluids from the compartment.

As of this moment there are no active or passive stabilisers on the vehicle.

This will lead to rocking if the cargo is disturbed or lisps if there is uncentered heavy cargo.

Do not panic it shouldn’t flip unless you put something too heavy too far over to one side.

The craft can take some heavy loads with little effect to its performance.
There are a lot of pivot in the craft so there maybe a slight bit of and effect on performance.

!IMPORTANT!
W will make you go forwards and S will make you go backwards! (Its super simple to operate)

When landing the craft keep the ramp up and only deploy it once you stop moving.

Be gentle when turning at speed’s especially in windy conditions!

When pushing onto a beach dont push yourself too far or you wont be able to get off. Be controlling of your speed.
Dont run max rps all the time. It will kill your fuel and engines!

Super important keep the ramp deployed for when you start to move back but as you start to move then lower the ramp. This makes it easier to back off the beach. It may take a few seconds to start moving! (There is a 1 in 12 chance the boat will do a :SW: and break its ramp and front body for no reason.
