What's this for?
This guide is meant for people who are new to the game or just struggle in PvP, who have very little score at the end of the match, those who feel like a burden to their team. By reading and looking at the pictures in the guide below you too will realise how easy playing multiplayer really is
Super easy tactics to know
I will first list the most important tactics, all of which are easy to learn and understand

HEAL YOURSELF NOW!
How many times have you wondered "why are my guys dying but my opponents isn't?", the secret is this magic button

The moment you press it, any damaged squad members will heal themselves, why is this the secret behind winning? Very simple, units healing themselves will nearly always outpace any damage they're taking, if your opponent doesn't use the same button, they will begin to start losing men left and right even if they are in much better cover than you are. Take these pictures for example, 8 riflemen vs 8 riflemen. Aside from my one guy who got immediately killed, I was able to kill 6 while the other 2 are always pinned
Always make sure you're healing even if your guys take 2 damage, AI controlled units do not heal until AFTER combat, which is far too late. Be sure to not spam the button tho, as it will consume bandages without healing your guys, the perfect timing is when any soldier has half HP and is not currently healing

SMOKE SPAM
One of the most useful tools at your disposal that many people forget or ignore, press F3, spam throw them in front of you while you are capturing a point, be it Battlezones, the zones in domination or enemy HQ and your troops are essentially invisible. This forces the enemy player to attack you in close range which usually results in your soldiers 1 shotting anything they spot coming out of the smoke
Out of sight, out of mind. Unit AI has absolutely 0 memory which means you can exploit it alot. Take an AT gun for example, cover it in smoke and its essentially invisible to everything. That 200m 7.5cm Pak is now a threat to that SU-100y thats always sitting in the backline

And while you can see the enemy, the enemy can't see you

AT guns and infantry guns are the easiest to hide in smoke, they can shoot and only briefly appear on the minimap, giving AI controlled tanks very little time to react, a player controlling one has to drive even closer just to be able to shoot it blind (since he'll be aiming at the ground behind it and not the gun itself). This also applies to tanks, if you just got your tank stunned, immediately throw smokes and set it to do not fire, turn off the engine if it got tracked. Your tank will become very difficult to spot. Also remember that an empty tank is permanently spotted, throwing smokes will not make it harder for an enemy to shoot it, so always ALWAYS keep atleast 1 guy inside at all times when repairing.

And probably the most important thing that needs to be reminded, SMOKE GRENADES ARE NOT DEFENSIVE TOOLS ONLY, they work incredibly well while pushing zones and moving up AT guns to kill tanks that are sitting in a spot, tired of watching all your infantry die the moment they try to attack? Throw smokes! Is your tank tracked and taking a beating? Always use smokes!!!

PUSH PUSH AND PUSH!!!
The best defense is a good offense, for the love of God put pressure on your enemy and PUSH. I'm sorry you have to hear this but you will never become a good player if you do nothing but camp in a spot. Both modes, battlezones and domination encourage you to attack rather than defend. The more zones you have captured in battlezones, the faster your ticking score is and since the frontline has moved up, you don't need to defend the zones in the back.

It's even more important to attack in domination. Every zone you capture instantly replenishes your MP up to 150 depending on how much you've lost in payback (more on this later) and 5% of the total victory points needed to win. In 3v3 or 4v4 games, this is worth much more than any unit you kill. You can lose all your valuable units like a King Tiger or Andryusha and still win by 600+ points if you capture these zones.

Moving half way across the map and then digging in and waiting is just awful. Never ever stop pushing especially when you don't see a single enemy infront of you. The more of the map you own, the less space the enemy has to manoeuvre, you will control more zones and essentially you win by choking the enemy to death. Remember that most players you face will play passive and idle, you do not need to protect your flank for surprise attacks nor do you need to build defences to get ready for a counter attack.

If their HQ is wide open, go for it while they focus on a zone. If they are digging in on their sides, go for the HQ. If they are going for your HQ, now you have a worthy opponent. Never ever wait for your enemy to make the first move. Attack and attack. Deeper in the guide I explain why losing hundreds of units isn't actually a bad thing

DIRECT CONTROL YOUR UNITS
It is nearly impossible to play this game without using direct control in some way or another, direct controlling gives you an insane advantage, not only does it give you a big accuracy buff but it lets you do things the AI can't. For example:
Without DC
With DC

Against a player who doesn't DC his tank, you are at a massive advantage, his tank won't be able to fire back at max distance which lets you easily destroy it without any issue. Likewise, infantry also benefit with grenades, not only letting you cook-off grenades (so they explode mid air or as soon as they hit the ground) but also letting you throw certain ones much further

Without DC

With DC

Never ever let AI control your tanks, they are simply too brain dead to do anything useful, always control your tanks manually or you will risk losing it in the worst way possible. DCing your infantry can be left to personal preference, I myself only do it with panzerschrecks/bazooka's and if my infantry are bugging out with grenades. Don't just 24/7 DC your guys as that hurts your overall micro

USE GRENADES
Learn how to use grenades properly and you're already better at the game, and its super easy to do, sometimes better than using guns. Your grenade hotkey should be F1 unless you changed it

Press F1 and click on the ground where the enemy is or is about to approach, then do it 5 or more times near and around the area

You might be thinking "Won't they just get shot and die before managing to throw any grenade?" and you are right, infantry prioritise your troops holding grenades so be sure to throw smoke grenades beforehand or do it behind cover, this works best in maps with limited line of sight aka a village with many fences/houses. To ensure atleast one grenade is thrown, control a soldier yourself as you get more range from it

Soviet grenades (RGD M/33) are 100% better in every way than German/Finnish grenades, but in practice that just means you have to throw more grenades while playing as Germany/Finland
Easy tactics to know 2
COVER MATTERS, OR DOES IT?
Not all covers are good, sometimes its better to have no cover, and other times cover makes your soldiers nigh invincible. The best type of cover for your soldiers is inside buildings, especially concrete towers as they're indestructible. Simply right click the windows and your units will magically teleport up there once inside

This kind of cover makes your soldiers very hard to kill with infantry and tanks. AI controlled units have trouble hitting anyone inside these buildings while tanks are forced to shoot every window one by one (if they don't miss). Your soldiers on the other hand have a height advantage and also the ability to teleport between the different windows/openings instantly. Is there a SU-152 shooting them? Simply right click the windows on the other side and they are safe. The stone buildings found in Liberation maps are especially overpowered, always try to take control of them even if they don't offer good look out spots for your guys, remember that enemy units can't occupy the same buildings, they'll all just go and stare at the stairs, if that house gets blown up, just get into another one!

If you don't know already, hold right click with a squad to make them spread out in cover, maps with many bushes are especially good for this as soldiers in bushes, prone and spread out, are better in combat than nearly every other type of cover

In close combat situations such as maps with many buildings or tall wooden fences separating zones, it is better to micro your troop placement, put them in spots you think would be best and far from eachother to prevent dying to grenades and to not lose your entire squad to HE shells

But if its too much micro for you, you can simply choose to burn it all down

How do you attack with no cover? Simply run up to the enemy and go prone. If you have more infantry than them, they will spend more time taking cover (soldiers briefly put their head down when being shot) than actually firing back. Remember to heal your squads with F8 so you don't lose any firepower, keep closing the distance, use smokes if its too overwhelming and then grenade spam any remaining enemies in cover.

90% of the playerbase puts their entire squad in a single trench, what happens when you throw a grenade inside or shoot a HE shell at them? Likewise foxholes require extensive micro (selecting them, rotating and putting them in an ideal spot, and finally making the soldier go inside since half the time they remain outside) which makes them not ideal since you can accomplish the exact same thing by just going prone in a bush. If you always have more firepower and soldiers than the enemy, you never need cover.

DETACHMENTS ARE YOUR FRIEND

Constant pressure, plugging holes in your defense, gaining vision in the opening few minutes. A single rifleman can do many things, and are very important in 1v1 and 2v2 games, he is a tier 2 rifleman, the same exact ones you get in a normal tier 2 squad, yet you don't have to save up as much just to spawn him in.

AT detachments save you the need of buying an AT gun or tank just to deal with an armoured car. It is always good to buy one at the start just in-case your enemy starts with an armoured car or tank or gets one a few minutes later. While there is very little reason to buy an AT squad instead of the detachments, the Soviet anti-tank rifle squad gives you PTRS instead of PTRD which is easily the best anti-tank rifle in-game.

THINK SMART
There are many, unorthodox tactics that you can use to gain an advantage. Put a Panzerschreck guy on a motorcycle and drive it straight behind an enemy tank, put a Gerät shell in a car, drop it in a place you want gone and shoot it. Buy a sniper and sneak behind enemy lines to kill officers. Some vehicles can equip different weapons so be sure to experiment (double click the weapon in the vehicles inventory)

Most units can target planes, just select them and right click the plane, or DC the unit yourself. Recon planes can be destroyed by your average soldier since they fly in a circle, slow and little HP, especially easy for the IS-2 M1945 and ISU-152 since they have DShK. Bomber planes on the other hand are a different matter but can be done

If your tank is tracked and a plane is coming to bomb you. Select the tank, load AP and right click the plane (requires fiddling with the camera), right click again once the plane is in range of the tank. It will not work every time but now your Tiger/IS-2 has a bit hope of survival (Thank you Sky for this)

AA units, aside from a few fast firing ones, will almost never shoot down a plane coming to airstrike you, do NOT rely on them
Stuff you should consider in Multiplayer
Payback System
This is quite complicated so I'll do my best to explain

The cost of your units will eventually be paid back when they die. 100% of the units manpower cost. This means playing aggressive and losing your units by the dozen every second isn't a bad strategy, infact it might pay off in the long run if you do it correctly. For example:
After a long and hard game, me and my team mate (love you Nemo) finally began capturing the enemy HQ, despite me having spent the majority of my MP on infantry, I still have nearly 700 MP left and my CP is nearly maxed out, while my enemy doesn't have any MP to buy units
I have double the deaths of anyone else yet I outnumber my enemy significantly in number and resources, how?

Losing your first engagement is not the end of the world as by the next minute or two you'll be back to full strength. Remember that the max payback you get is 1 MP a second, if you spend 1,310 MP on a Tiger and it dies, it will take over 21 MINUTES to get that MP back in the best conditions. Find the balance and you'll eventually notice you're swimming in MP despite having hundreds of deaths. In the pictures above I was using mostly infantry, and since infantry die fast but are cheap, I was always using the payback mechanic, as opposed to my enemies who would save up for a tank or armoured car only for it to die instantly

How much CP you're using affects the amount of MP you get back every second, maxed out and you'll be getting very few resources back (0.2) while using around 50 CP means you get the full amount (1.0)

At the end of the day if you want to win, your kill/death ratio shouldn't matter and your units lives don't matter. Do not be afraid to send wave after wave of infantry at the enemy, you are getting your MP back while they are running out of ammo + healing (forcing them to buy supply crates/trucks which give you an MP advantage)

"Isn't the other player also affected by this? Doesn't this just result in a stalemate between two equal players?" Read below for why this doesn't happen

INFANTRY IS KING
Due to how MP/Payback works, infantry is META. Simply put if you get good at using infantry offensively, you will win the vast majority of games.

Compare tanks to infantry:
Infantry
-Cheap
-Can kill armour with AT grenades/panzerschrecks/panzerfausts
-Hard to spot prone
-Very maneuverable
Tanks
-Expensive
-Vulnerable to infantry
-Big target
-Slow and get stuck on everything

Basically, if you spend your MP on tanks, you will not have enough MP for infantry, armoured cars get stun locked very easily and destroyed by an AT rifle, while panzerschrecks delete every single tank in existence in a few shots. It is ALWAYS cheaper to get an AT gun or AT infantry that can penetrate the enemy armour rather than buying your own tank to deal with it. Who do you think is better off in this situation:

or

By the time the enemy gets a tank, you already have 4 (5th just spawned) infantry squads on the battlefield, and a panzerschreck unit in half a minute or so.

Likewise, which do you think will perform better against a BT-7?

or

All the tank options are easily seen and can be penetrated by the BT-7, the 4.7cm is the same price as a panzerjager (300 MP with truck) while being significantly smaller and harder to be seen. This also saves your MP for infantry

Very few tanks (SU-122 and Panzer Ausf. F2 for example) are worth their cost in MP, you will never realistically kill enough infantry (they just get paid back) with a tank to ever justify its cost. If an enemy gets an IS-2 or a Tiger, congrats! You're now ahead of them by 1000 MP, you can ignore those tanks since 99% of the playerbase will just sit back and shoot HE shells from 210 meters or so, killing 1 guy every 10-20 seconds. If they get close, panzerschreck them!

How many times have you seen a player get an armoured car or a tank? The majority of the playerbase don't constantly buy infantry. Which means if you keep going infantry, they either

A: Ignore your strategy and buy an armoured car/tank, letting you gain more and more land (as previously mentioned never ever stop putting pressure on the enemy unless they are REALLY dug in) since a single tank or car can't stop all of your infantry and when you eventually destroy it with infantry or AT gun, you'll have the advantage in both numbers and firepower

or B: Are forced to buy infantry squads which you can then use the strategies provided in this guide to kill them easily

Either way you are winning through the sheer pressure you're putting on them. You don't have to be a good at micro if your enemy are always doing these mistakes.

USE YOUR DOCTRINE POINTS
It is all too common to see a player save their DP for a phase 3 unit despite there being 0 units that cost 200 DP, USE YOUR RESOURCES.

Many doctrines have very useful tier 1 units that help you immensely in gaining the edge of the first 10 mins of the game, for example look at these:

BT-2 DA-2: A fast, 10 DP MG tank that shreds infantry (you can get another one every 2:30s) while being very hard to kill with AT/Auto cannons at the start

BT-5: Same as BT-2 DA-2 but with a 45mm gun, easily lets you kill any armoured cars they send at you at the start

Panzer II Ausf L.: Auto cannon tank, PTRS/PTRD has trouble dealing with it so you can mow down any infantry without care
Stuff you should consider in Multiplayer 2
ALL INFANTRY ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS
So spamming infantry is the way to win, but different doctrines have different squads that have different infantry, how do you tell which ones are good and which ones are not?

Here's a tier 1 defensive squad, the (1) denotes the tier, the icon on the right of the guns is the squad icon (the shield means its defensive), nothing else is relevant, the orange/red number means there's different versions of the same squad, but the changes are so minuscule you can ignore it

So what is the difference between tiers? Very simple:

Tier 1: Units have 150 HP and 2 stars in their weapon skill (squadleader is tier 2 in most cases)
Tier 2: Units have 200 HP and 3 stars
Tier 3: Units have 300 HP and 4 stars
Tier 4: Units have 375 HP and 5 stars

HP is very important, the more HP they have the more shots they can take without healing, weapon skill means how accurate they are, a tier 1 guy is not going to do much before dying so tier 1 squads are not very useful in most situations (however, they have the lowest CP cost which means you can have more guys on the field), tier 2 squads and above are going to be your primary workhorses in matches, it is up to personal preference if you want to spam cheap and average tier 2 squads (they usually don't have a cooldown) or use mainly elite tier 3 or 4 squads (who are pretty good at attacking)

There are only three squad icons that change stats and everything else is irrelevant, that is Defensive, Recon and Stealth, Defensive is the shield, Recon is an eye, Stealth is an eye with a dash

Defensive squads get very good HP regen, which basically means they last a much longer time in combat when you're not microing them yourself, however they are MUCH slower than every other squad in the game, pretty good for combat if you don't mind being slow

Recons have lower hp but with extra view range (very important if you want to see the enemy before they see you) and run a bit faster, DO NOT USE THEM AS A ATTACK/DEFENSE SQUAD, I've seen many many people only use recon squads, they cost extra and have lower hp, use the other squads!!! Only buy recon squads to get vision on the map, not to fight, although USSR recon squads have OP grenades so consider that aswell

Stealth squads are the most overpowered, when prone and not firing they can only be spotted within 25-30 meters, they are basically ninja's equipped with amazing weapons, every stealth squad is OP, but some are more OP in Late War such as the Soviet Recon Ops squad which get 2 bazooka's alongside many satchel charges, Germans only get a few Panzerfaust 100's, Finland gets basically nothing, Americans get 12 ninja's!!! There is nothing preventing you from giving your guys Panzerschrecks or satchel charges... to summarise, you have infantry that is nearly invisible (just use them yourself, put on do not fire, go prone and sneak around) and can vaporize anything that exists no matter where it is, even if you don't use them for stealth they are a tier 4 squad for only 20-25 DP, 15 minutes in this is VERY useful

(ask Spitzer_DK for his opinion on stealth squads if you see him)

Last but not least, some squads start with veterancy, these are immensely good, usually 3 or 5 levels but each level increases their health AND aim, turning those tier 1 guys into pseudo tier 3

Overall, easily the best and most cost-efficient squads to get, they reload faster, aim better and have slightly more HP than their normal variant

Just remember, infantry is king in this game, as long as you are buying infantry you're already better at this game than most people

WHY IS MY ARTY SO USELESS??

Are you an arty player? Do you enjoy your 280mm arty missing every single shot? Do you ever wonder how that enemy player has a top scoring artillery while yours hasn't killed a single guy? This is why

You start off with vet 0 artillery crew

You're basically not gonna hit anything at any range

Now what happens if you replace the crew with the vet 8 tank crew you got from Tiger Ace...

Big improvement! That's right, tank crew and artillerymen share the same skill in cannons, if your Panzer 4 F2 has vet 5 crew, take a few guys off and put them in your newly bought arty! Please note you only need ONE guy with vet levels for this to take effect, get a friend to give you the vet 8 tank commander from any of the veteran tank buys (for Germany, these are the ace Tiger 1 from irregular, Panther G from offensive and for Soviets, IS-2 M1945 from support, all late war only)

There is no difference between skill in AT guns, AA guns, armoured cars or artillery, if any of them have veterancy, you can share that veterancy with ones that don't have any, and only the highest level is counted, a single vet 8 artilleryman will do better than five vet 7 artillerymen, that "efficiency" you see on the right means absolutely nothing since its not implemented in the game properly, of course your tank can't reload and move at the same time with just one guy so fill out those slots, but otherwise, you only need one guy with veterancy for your tank to be more accurate

Unfortunately, normal soldiers even with veterancy will not make your stuff more accurate, at best they will increase the "skill" by one star, still better than nothing tho if you wanna do it

And to be honest, your artillery will probably still be useless anyways, the best most OP artillery are any that reload fast since they have more chances to hit something, to name a few:
Grille (super busted)
107mm (for Finland and USSR, super busted)
Manpower artillery like 10.5cm LeFH (nice but expensive)
Use things like 280mm or 17cm K18 at your own discretion, they might make a big explosion, but if they don't hit anything and take 3 minutes to reload, are they really worth it?

HOW TO MAKE RARE AMMO COMMON

Many tanks have limited amount of special ammo such as HEAT, APCR or HVAP, at best you have 2-5 shells before you need to resupply, but there is a neat trick to have more than the usual amount of ammo you get:

Just take out the ammo!

resupply, and put it back in!

This can be done with any ammo type, you aren't happy your panzerschreck only resupplies up to 3 rockets? Just put keep putting those 3 rockets into the ammo box/truck, and then take them all back once you have enough, rinse and repeat with any vehicle or gun you need alot of ammo for, and you'll never have ammo issues again

Please do note this does take some time to perform since resupplying is slow, so make sure to only do it when you spawn your vehicle in, if you don't want to be constantly driving your supply truck around your rocket artillery, just repeat this trick until your supply truck is out of ammo and you'll never have to resupply again!
How do I counter this? In-depth
Autocannons - THE BANE OF YOUR EXISTENCE

No doubt if you've play multiplayer you will eventually encounter the infamous AA truck/AA tank spam that so many players love to do, and it makes sense, they are super lethal against infantry and are a pain in the ass to kill in the beginning

All of the MP AA trucks/tanks have a range of 150m which out-ranges all of your infantry by 30m, in theory this means the autocannons can stay in the backline and shred your guys apart one by one, in practice many players simply don't know or don't care about the ranges and so drive their autocannon straight into range of you. How do you counter them? AT rifles of course!

Seriously, you need to remember that buying an AA truck of your own just boils it down to whoever shoots first wins, with an AT rifle you can get much closer to the trucks and shoot its engine until it dies, if your AT guy gets ripped apart by it just grab his gun and keep shooting. At the start of the game you can afford one tier 2 squad and an AT rifle squad some seconds later, which nearly always counters any early game AA truck/tank spam. If you have no cover, throw smokes, and be sure to DC him for max accuracy, PTRD is kinda doodoo so thats why I recommend getting the AT rifle squad for the PTRS, but AT detachments can work too

Finland has the easiest time dealing with them as their AT rifle is a fast firing 5 round one,
Americans need to use a bazooka which is actually pretty good if you can get in range,
German AT rifles are terrible and unavailable in late war, if you play Germany in Late War you'll just have to use a MG 42!

Remember to aim for the engine, the moment it goes on fire means it's dead permanently, if you "destroy" it but the engine isn't on fire, don't stop shooting it until it is to prevent the enemy from repairing it and giving you a headache again. Do not use lightly armoured tanks, armoured cars or AT guns that don't vastly out-range it, autocannons loaded with AP can kill you through about 30mm of armour, use the much cheaper and better option and autocannons won't be such a bother anymore, in the worst case scenario where you have an infantry squad with no AT support, just throw smokes ontop of yourself and delay them killing you until your AT guy arrives
Useful buttons
There are a few useful buttons that can be confusing to understand

Turning the engine off makes your tanks less likely to be spotted and also makes any turretless tanks (SU-152, Jagdpanther etc) stay put in one spot instead of turning left and right and left and right in a loop

Ammo lock does exactly what it says, locks the current shell type loaded so the AI doesn't immediately switch to HE when they see a single guy with a rifle, makes your tanks only target a certain unit type depending on what shell you have loaded (tanks if its AP, infantry if its HE, some exceptions occur like AA trucks and SU-152)

Closing the hatch makes any person on a MG mount ontop immediately get inside the tank, very useful if you have an ace Tiger, Panther or IS-2 M1945 as their tank commander is extremely vulnerable to artillery (and you don't want to lose that vet 8 tank commander)

Suppressive fire is very useful in certain situations, essentially it forces your squad to fire everything at a spot or enemy, enemy jeep annoying you but your soldiers are only taking potshots at it? Use suppressive fire. Enemy squad behind a wooden wall but your infantry won't shoot them? Suppressive fire. This is very effective with the more SMGs or STGs you have as the AI will never fire automatically with them otherwise.

You can put all of these buttons onto the hotbar by just holding right click and dragging them from the bottom right menu onto the hotbar

Unit ranges
OP unit cheat sheet and how to kill
Here's a list on what units are overpowered and how to kill them, also some average units that new players just generally don't know how to deal with

EARLY WAR
USSR
76mm M1927 - Use arty or try to kill with your own 7.5cm leIG 18
T-34 - Track + airstrike/88, F1 panzer with HEAT rips through them
KV-1 - Same as T-34, track + airstrike (use 250kg bomb) or use 88 (75 ltK as Finland)
T-35 M1938 - Use HEAT or track + bomb, make Finland bro go defensive doc

Germany
7.5cm leIG 18 - Use arty, try to kill with own 76mm M1927 or T34/KV-1, 76mm M1933 works too
8.8cm FlaK 18 - Use arty, don't use any tanks until they're dead

Finland
75 ltK/37 - 200m range, static ones are easily dealt with by arty, look for concrete foundations on map
Elite Sniper - Infantry gun, rush with infantry/high damage units like DShK truck, counter snipe
84 K/18 - Use arty or T-34/KV-1

MID WAR
USSR
76mm M1927 - Try to kill with 7.5cm leIG 18 or 7.5cm Pak/Panzer F2 (do not get within 160m of it)
KV-1 - Use 7.5cm Pak or Panzer F2 and shoot the flat bit of turret, you out-range it by 10 meters

Germany
7.5cm leIG 18 - Try to kill with 76mm M1927 or any T-34/KV-1, Zis-2/3 AT guns works too
KV-1B - Track + airstrike, big HE rounds
Tiger - Track + airstrike, big HE rounds

Finland
75 ltK/37 (Static) - Use Katyusha or arty, look for concrete foundations
Elite Sniper - rocket arty, rush with high damage units, counter snipe

USA
75mm M1A1 - It has 170m range, use Panzer 4 F1 or F2 and be careful

LATE WAR
USSR
nothing

Germany
Jagdtiger - Track it + airstrike, it has nigh invulnerable front armour so you go all in or go home (in a body bag)
Tiger 2 - Track it and airstrike or shoot with HE from IS-2 and hope it dies before you do

Finland
nothing

USA
Field mod sherman - Shoot turret until player ragequits

If you have any questions such as "why is this unit OP? how do I use it?" or "How do I deal with this?" then please ask them in the comment section below and ill explain

Often i wish devs could stop trying to make more and more Men of War games (and their derivates) on this ancient pos engine that shits itself every chance it gets. And if it doesnt its still bad for so much stuff.

if you play long enough you will realise how trash the unit ai is in general and jump through hoops to work around it, when a better player beats your ass in pvp its not because you suck at the game, its because he just knows more ways of getting his unit ai to not be so useless at everything

when a guy goes cod mode with his infantry, ask yourself if hes doing it because direct control fps mode is fun, or because his infantry is useless otherwise? all infantry is trash if you dont babysit them, ive had so many moments where enemy tank crew, start to disembark and then wipe out 90% of my squad because my infantry ai is too busy daydreaming instead of shooting them

however, without infantry, you have no vision and enemy players will just buy AT rifle or panzerschreck (with direct control) and wipe out your armoured car/tank, thus youre forced to use infantry to counter their infantry, and at that point it boils down to who has more mental energy to constantly babysit their units

the infantry are just terrible in this game, their reaction time to shoot and what not seems delayed and the DPS they can dishout feels like most of the german infantry weapons are peashooters.

Greetings Jonas,

Everytime I play US I have the urge to give that man a cigar. What should I do?

@ashkenazijew you can try to fix this by changing your username and pfp into something more suitable for goh such as "xXRommelDesertFox88Xx" with a pfp of rommel in black and white, other examples could be "WittmannAce2009" with a pfp of a tiger 1 in black and white or anything similiar to that

this will almost definitely uplift you in the eyes of most german players and you will be showered in praise and goodwill, if you for some reason cant change your pfp or username, you can instead host games yourself and exclusively have finland vs soviet games which will scare away any german players
