This requires the console; You must click options, Keyboard/Mouse, then you can enable the developer console from there.

Obviously you want to be infected for most of the achievements. You require sb_all_bot_team to be 1, but the command requires sv_cheats to be 1, which will turn off achievements which is not the desired effect.

• In order to do this you must put commands in your launch options. You must right click Left 4 Dead and click properties.
  
  
  
• Copy-paste the following into the launch options : +sv_pausable 1
  +vs_max_team_switches 99 +sb_all_bot_team 1 +z_frustration 0 +director_spectate_specials 1 +tongue_allow_voluntary_release 1

These are what the commands do

sv_pausable 1; (Allows you to pause in a local hosted game.);
vs_max_team_switches 999; (For switching teams an infinite amount of times);
sb_all_bot_team 1; For bots to not require a human player on their team and move through the level);
z_frustration 0; (So you don't lose control of the tank.);
director_spectate_specials 1; (So you can spectate infected AI, merely for cosmetic reasons);
tongue_allow_voluntary_release 1; (So you can release your tongue as the Smoker via clicking the right mouse button).


The binds here are optional but will saves you time without the need to write the commands individually each time when the it is needed.

They can also negate the "waiting for players to load" in Versus by switching to coop opening the starting saferoom's door, and spawn or stop the spawning of AI Infected.
You may change the keybindings if you have already bounden it to something else.

• If you are stuck in respawning in coop mode, you need to press the bind for "mp_gamemode versus;wait 5; mp_gamemode coop" to respawn again.
  
  
  
  
• If there is a Tank and he is a ghost.
  
  
  
  You will need to change the gamemode to versus and then back to coop if you are required to be in coop mode.

• If you type in sv_cheats 0, it may disable some commands

I know I said no split-screen; though you won't be moving the split-screen player. Why?
Because, some achievements are hard to complete if AI survivors keep killing you, and sometimes you require a stationary target.

• When you are in a level you can split-screen with ss_connect.
  You can disconnect the split-screener with ss_disconnect.
  
  
  
• To change the split-screener's name: cmd2 name Gaben (You may change Gaben to any other name.)
  
  
  
• To change the split-screen mode: ss_splitmode 1 (1 for horizontal, 2 is for vertical; for vertical, a widescreen is better result.
  
  
  
• To change the split-screener's team: cmd2 jointeam 2 Louis (1 is for spectator, 2 is for survivor; and the survivor's name that is occupied by an AI, 3 is for infected.)

• Once you load into a map, change the gamemode to versus mode and then change into the Infected Team. If you are not a Boomer, get yourself killed until you are the Boomer.
  
  
• When near the survivors, spawn then vomit on all four of them. And you should obtain the achievement
  
  

If you fail, rejoin the infected team and try again.


Covering the survivors with vomit via your death does not count.

Hordes can be a useful distraction if you are unable to vomit on all four of them.

• Once you load into the map, change into the Infected Team if you aren't already; connect the split-screener to the survivor team.
  
  
• If you are not a Smoker, get yourself killed when you can spawn or restart until you are the Smoker. Kick the AI survivors. Spawn in when you are the Smoker.
  
  
  
• Get as far from the split-screener as your crosshair can turn red.

• If you are confident you are far enough, pull the split-screener.

• If you do not get the achievement here.
  then you will need to retry; release your tongue by right-clicking.
  

This achievement is very inconsistent. But keep trying and you will obtain it.

• Once you load into the map, change into the Infected Team if you aren't already.
  Connect the split-screener.
  
  
• If you are not a Smoker or a Hunter, get yourself killed until you are a Smoker or a Hunter. Kick 2 AI survivors. Wait for the ability to spawn to be granted.
  
  
• When you spawn in, you will want to kill the AI survivor first and then you can attack the split-screener to obtain your achievement.
  

Clawing the survivors as either infected, does not count.

If you are a Smoker, you will have to wait for your tongue ability to recharge

Once you load into the map, join the survivor team. Kick 2 bots and connect the split-screener.
This one has a bit of a time limit, because you do not want the split-screener to get killed by the horde.

You must jump down unto these airducts.

Once you jump down, heal up to reduce the risk of incapacitation and make your way to the safe-room.

-

Once you reach the safe-room, close the door, switch to the infected team and wait for the AI survivor to teleport to the split-screener.

(If you are not the infected that is needed for an achievement, get killed.)
Once you incap the AI survivor, you should obtain the achievement.

Command for map: map l4d_vs_hospital05_rooftop coop

Once you load into the map, continue through the level as a survivor until you reach the radio. Throw all gas cans off the hospital due to AI survivors being able to accidentally shoot them and light you on fire when you are a tank.


When you confirm that you are ready to the chopper, you may switch the gamemode to versus and join the infected team.


When on the infected team, switch the gamemode back to coop, call a vote to change it to Advanced so the Tank has 8000 health.

Once the Tank spawns, change the mode back to versus.



When you have control of the Tank kick any Boomers or wait for the survivors to kill it before changing the gamemode back to coop as the bots have a hard time quelling the horde.

Change the difficulty to expert for a one hit incap and now, you may now begin attacking the survivors.



Note

If you are stuck in the fail-cam you can change back to versus mode, switch to the survivor team so it resets the camera.

Once you load into a map, open the door and then switch to the infected team. Become a Smoker if you are not already, but do not spawn yet. You require a friendly Boomer so you change the gamemode back to coop mode.

When a friendly Boomer spawns in and pukes on somebody, kick all the other bots. Kick the Boomer too if he hasn't been killed already.


Spawn in as the Smoker and seize the moment for your own gain.

• Once you load into the map, change the gamemode to versus, join the infected team. Change it back to coop. Then change the difficulty to Advanced. To increase the chance for a tank to spawn.
  
  
  
• You're gonna have to be patient. Wait for the survivors to reach a tank. When you do control the tank, use cars to damage the survivors and you will reach 5000 damage in no time.
  
  
• A tank will usually spawn after the warehouse section.
  
  
  
• You should obtain the achievements after simply killing the survivors with the props multiple times.

Once you load into the map, change into the Infected Team if you aren't already.
Connect the split-screener. I recommend the split-screener be Francis or Louis as their starting positions are beneficial to this.

If you are not a Hunter, get yourself killed when you can spawn or restart until you are the Hunter. Kick the AI survivors. Spawn in when you can.

You must go topside for this.

If you pounce on the very top of the roof you guarantee a 25 damage pounce, 100% of the time.

Once you load into the map, switch to the survivor team. Incap your AI teammates and burn yourself until you die.

When you swap teams, switch back to the survivor team and go through the warehouse to this area.

And now you should incap your teammates and

Once in the second map, swap teams, incap your teammates and get beat up by the common infected.

Now swap teams, incapacitate your teammates. Head outside, and get beat up by the common infected once more.

Now you should obtain the achievement.

Once you load into the map, play through as normal.

When the bridge lowers, go ahead and press the button.

Before you jump off, you must change the gamemode to Versus Mode, then connect the split-screener to the survivor team.

Now jump off the bridge and switch to the infected team.

You will want to kick all infected AI here! As they will most likely incap your achievement target.

When you become the Tank, be careful of the common infected incapping your target. I recommend using a car so you can incap without any risk.
