I will try to do something about abilities by the new year.
You can remove Glitterlink via an operation if you need pawns for EMP combat.
Second, your races might need a Combat Extended patch to allow the CE specific buttons on them, other wise they just don't exist for random pawns. Thus Far I've fixed the issue via Nuff's auto patcher and selecting a option to fix it, however, I've also needed to go back into the settings for every single one for the check to actually work. If I don't do this, those same random pawns loose their buttons again.
That's because of a new Glitterlink implant my species now come with. You can remove it via an operation if you dont meed it.
