Yes, that's correct. But you can use aliases:
echo "alias protontricks='flatpak run com.github.Matoking.protontricks'" >> ~/.bashrc
so instead of "flatpak run com.github.Matoking.protontricks" you just need to type "protontricks".
Also I don't mind using GUI in the tutorial because they are more user-friendly. I just want to add a terminal option (mostly for desktop users).
I would think it'd be more like
flatpak run com.github.Matoking.protontricks 1277510 d3dcompiler_47
but don't quote me on that, there's a reason I decided to tutorialize via GUI, and it's partly to end the stigma that you "need" the terminal to do anything useful on Linux.
