I sort of complied with your suggestions in the shape of "Heavy Metal Headbanging" and a "space crazed" animation that just might suit your needs...

A disappointed headbang would be amazing
Perhaps if I have the time I'll do a devil horns rock on animation, coupled with the spare hand fingering invisible frets

I agree with McShnazzlehaufer, the head banging against a wall would be awesome. "damn, i lost another ship *bangs head* and there goes another..."

Really cool effect to open a door right after doing this gesture.

i dont know if this is possible but id like to see some kind of hand to hand combat mod, like being able to fist fight an enemy engineer in a boxing match or something, not sure why im posting this here but i just thought of it.

Or headbanging as in anger against a wall

Yes, that... Was suggested before the file got erased. Instead of the "invisible booby grab", I'd love to. I'm almost totally code-blind, as I said, so as much as I would like to, seems out of my reach... Although if there is a defined animation for that I might be able to cook a replacer. I'll do some research. In the meantime, if anyone knows, contact me; and I'll hand you the animation.

I like it a lot. Could you maybe do some light scripting to make it so your guy will do this when your in a menu??? Like the K menu? I just think it would be really cool.
