Other Crew
Your other crew members you should try to get are:

Luna: Extremely necessary, this is your primary mitigation for projectile ship waves and the best way to deal with enemies that move away from you (fire ship especially).

Corrosia: Very necessary, her gold magnet ability is one of the few ways you will be able to collect power ups/experience as you will be killing enemies further and further from you as the game goes on.

Vermillion: Optional but she adds to your survivability, gold magnet, and her super weapon is very good for killing boss enemies as they get close. Alternatively any good damage dealer (Azurene/Raven/Tesla) or Rosanova should be ok.

Doc: Is our primary crew member and will provide mitigation (by keeping enemies away), boss killing (by stacking up tons of mines), and pickup collection.
Space Cubes
For space cubes you want to fully upgrade the Super Plasma Planet and you want everything on the last page except the boosters/progression column. For Captains you want to max their weapon except for Corrosia. You also want to max Corrosia's second ability and Doc's final ability. From there if you have extra cubes add abilities that give gold magnet and shield amount/delay/recharge. Luna's abilities other than gold magnet do not work for this challenge as you won't be moving.

Weapons
Weapons are fairly easy however we will be taking one weapon that does not match the captains we took.

Wolf Ships: These are fantastic for this run and you should try to get these super as fast as possible! The wolf ships do good damage, distract enemy fire (this is huge for the wave with projectile shooting ships), and can chase enemies we cannot get to.

Static Field: Required obviously, this does good damage early and provides us some safety early on but where it really shines is the massive slowing field when super that we will combine with another weapon to make it nearly impossible for regular ships to get to us. This is a good second super pick.

Fireball: This weapon sucks early and should be last on our priority list, however once you super this weapon it becomes a single target monster. This is because the weapon has a number of attacking projectiles multiplying our damage by the number of projectiles and getting a absolutely massive 200% extra damage after getting all 3 levels of super. The overclock upgrades seem very weak but remember they are being multiplied by our # of projectiles and 3x damage.

And finally the secret weapon that is replacing Corrosia's

Nova: Nova at full ranks launches multiple circles per second of fairly low damage projectiles. However you can massively boost the knockback of these projectiles and the knockback SCALES WITH YOUR LEVEL! Combined with the slowing field of Static this makes normal enemies unable to get to you at all.

One final weapon, yup that's right surprise there's another weapon. But how you ask, well because we are going to stand on the Super Plasma Planet. This will help alot early and it is not a bad place to spend extra points on damage overclocks. It puts out a solid amount of damage and will smooth out the run overall. You could potentially elect to stand on the Gold planet (more xp) or the Time Cube planet (more rerolls) instead but I feel like this is the best option overall. Hull planet is useless as if you are dying you are going to die way to fast for it to save you and the Gather planet really won't matter thanks to Corrosia.
Choosing level ups and re rolls
As we are unable to move time cubes can be used exclusively for re rolling which you should use aggressively to target weapons and weapon damage. Most of your mitigation is going to come from not allowing enemies to hit you at all. Your initial focus should be on getting all your weapons and captains to drastically reduce the item pool to be able to focus on things you actually want.

If you are forced to make a choice before you get any re rolls (you may be able to snag 1 and get in place before your engines shut off) that will prevent you from getting Luna, Corrosia, Nova, or Wolf Ships you may just want to restart.

After you have all your items focus on leveling weapons, generally you want to focus on getting Wolf Ships going first after that focus on Static range/slow and Nova size/frequency/knockback this will make you very hard to kill and should allow you the time you need to pickup everything else.

I'd advise against getting Luna. She does not add anything substantial to the run, you don't need her to make your Wolf pack good enough to tank projectiles. The only useful thing she brings is the gold magnet but you already have plenty of that with the Doc, Vermilion and Corrosia.

Ravebow for the invincibility duration or Rosanova for Hull+Nova upgrades are much more interesting in my opinion.

Everything else I approve, that's basically how I beat it. I played Slime to be extra safe though, but it's not really needed and the extra damage of Plasma or Fireball against bosses is probably much more interesting, especially to kill bosses before they can push you out of the Plasma planet orbit.
