so whats the problem is the big X gonna go away? are all icons from this mod gone for good?

The icons in this are great and a must have IMO.
Mainly posting to point out for others with the icon issue how to fix it should anyone still be struggling or randomly get hit with the error like I did.
In a recent update the filenames were changed from ending with letters to numbers. This means in order to fix the giant Xs without random regenerating your ideology (because the selection menu will not function) you will have to manually edit the save for your live colony and backups of said Ideology you may have.
I recommend notepad++ and searching for every instance of "<iconDef>OE" and changing the letter at the end to a number like 01 then editing the icon in game back to what you desire using dev edit mode as the selection menu will actually work again.

I have the same issue as Flockerkill, my icon is a big X and even with dev mode I can't seem to be able to change it as it no longer shows ANY icons or options for icons when trying to change it, unless there's another method to change the icons in dev mode that i'm not aware of

@Flockerkill and @Hino I'm really sorry. Unfortunately, I don't know where you can download an older version. I can only recommend turning on DevMod(in game settings) and changing the icons to ideologies.

Today the icon suddenly got corrupted

since the update all ideologys in my playthrou that used icons of this mod simply has a big X as an icon
i tried already redownloading this mod but the problem stays

is there somewhere where i can download the older version of thid mod?
