Pacific Electric 1000 class

The Pacific Electric 1000 class is an interurban first introduced in 1913, intended to run on the line between Los Angeles and San Bernardino. they saw service untill the late 1940's when most of them were pulled out of service. 1001 is the only preserved car of the series, thanks to it being sold to a collector in 1952.

the 1000 class also makes an appearance in the game 'LA Noire' as a static prop in the railyard.
