-= Graphics Fix =- [EARLY ACCESS]
~~> IMPORTANT - IN MY EXPERIENCE: PUT YOUR GRAPHICS SETTINGS TO "VERY HIGH". When selecting "ULTRA" settings, for some reason the game doesn't look like its suppose to. One major issue I noticed in "ULTRA" settings was the Spirit Board was strangely a blank board and your character's hand was invisible which destroys the immersion of the game. Candles were also black without its proper white texture. Another big issue when selecting "ULTRA" graphics settings was the main menus are messed up, square boxes, item images and most of the layout was missing that should be there. These issues for the most part were fixed once I switched to "VERY HIGH" settings so never select "ULTRA" graphics settings!!! Hopefully the devs fix this problem that some wouldn't be forgiving about.

I put together some tips below of what I've learned after about an hour of game-play so I'm sure it'll be missing some stuff since I haven't used every item available or experienced everything the game has to offer so far (I'll updated if needed). I won't promise it'll be complete so that players can learn and enjoy on their own without spoiling much of the game. These tips are for those who don't understand or are frustrated with certain aspects in the game. Do look into the default key / button bindings in the options, it really helps. Hopefully it is of help to those who need it but if you're like me and enjoy not having your hand held in games like this then do not proceed reading! :D

-= Tips to keep in mind when Ghost Hunting =-
~ Only way to keep your points is to survive: Escaping using the car on the road you arrived in at the start of the game. You may do so at any time during your investigation.

- When taking photos with your cameras in the dark, make sure you press 'F' to turn your flash on while aiming it (not sure what it is on the controller). Taking photos of body bags, blood stains, spirits / demons, etc. will gain you experience points. Use these points to purchase / unlock new equipment before each game which you can take with you in future sessions. You can use the inventory to easily refill your equipment battery life.

~ When selecting your equipment, keep in mind that you only can carry up to a maximum of 100 space points. Be sure to take what you want and need, if you don't equip anything other than the default then you will have nothing more to use. Each item has different values and a few are free from the start, some with 0 space points required to take with you so be sure to equip them if they aren't since you'll have to do so before every game. One example is the pack of batteries which you can use for your camera and voice recorder so always equip those before every game but its alright if you don't being that you can find batteries in the game laying around. For some reason when selecting equipment, there aren't any arrows to switch between items within each category - click to its left and right to switch between them.

- If you want points gained during your Spirit Board sessions, be sure to equip the tripod after unlocking it before starting your game otherwise you won't gain points using the Spirit Board. It will show up once you set up your Spirit Board at the main camp fire. The rocks from the main campfire can be picked up and thrown by pressing the G key to lure a certain entity.

~ Try gathering as much wood branches and sheet metal laying around the map. It can be used to craft items such as traps and upgrade your equipment in the main house's work bench in the cellar / basement. You'll need the crowbar in order to gain access to the cellar. There's also a small house with a locked front door to the far left of the map behind the main house next to the Spirit board camp fire - use a lock pick to open it. While in-game, press the I key to look through your inventory, from here you can equip traps, etc. You also cycle through your items at hand by scrolling the mouse wheel.

- Going into the cellar when being chased will stop an entity from chasing you. It's the only safe place in the game. To upgrade equipment, you'll need these ball shaped item entities drop when caught in a trap. Use any upgrade items obtained before leaving in your car, they will not carry over into future game sessions.

~ Every entities encountered has different behavior patterns, finding a page with their image on it and looking behind the page will help you know their speed, weakness and how to deal with them effectively. I have come across a total of 5 different entities.

- There is a limit to the play area in the forest you can explore. At time you will see a screen prompting that you're leaving play area. If you continue leaving, you will die. Don't know what kills you, maybe from ghost farts XDDDDD.

~ Be sure to scavenge available locations such as house / shacks and abandoned camp fires which may have a backpack with supplies, battery or sheet metal laying around so pick them up when spotted. Wood can be found around the forest. Some items in the map are randomly placed so every game can have different locations such as batteries.

- You arrive at night so time in the game will progress the longer you survive. Time is displayed on the top left of your screen. Your night is coming to an end once you start seeing that its becoming day around 6:00am, at this point you will get a screen prompt saying something like: "I had enough of this, time to get back to my car". If you do not escape to your car after a set amount of time after 6am, you will faint from exhaustion (same as dying) losing your points gathered in that session.

I hope this helped! :D
