I have tried to do that , but the current state of pummel modding is still lacking stuff to support that feature , what I'm doing is equipping each player with a " gun " that when you shoot a ball spawn in the direction . Since the ball isn't a part of the " gun " therefore the game reads it as the killer is the " ball " not you so I couldn't find a way to make you get the +1 for that kill . so I made it the player who dies get -1 . in the next upcoming pummel update I would try to change it if we get something new

you should make the points based off kills not deaths because if someone lags out their character freezes and becomes invincible and they get to automatically win

Patch : made the respawn Invulnerablity 3 seconds instead of 1 second for no spawn kills
