One bridge. Three positions.

Beskrivelse
This map is a test with a light bridge, a cube and a button. The main focus here is on the light bridge. The test was made in the setting of the Wheatley Laboratories. The deadly pit will kill you if you stumble!

Nice map, I liked the aesthetics the only thing I would add is proper lighting with a light strips. Proper looking light strips looks amazing

Very simple yet interesting puzzle. Great visuals too.

Квємон I'll explain. I put a light bridge from the large white wall across the gorge to the wall near Wheatley as close as possible to the cube room. I then jumped off that bridge into the cube room and then I was able to put a portal in the cube room for the light bridge to reach and grab the cube.

Col. Hogan I'll redo the map and fix the bugs. True, I didn’t really understand what you mean by “found another entrance to the room with a cube” (I didn’t understand how)

Квємон [The portal magnet you said that you added didn't seem to help but I found another way to get into the cube room. I put a bridge perpendicular to the fixed bridge room and I leaped from into the cube room. Then I put the portal in the cube room and adjusted it to reach the cube.. So that's a bit different than your youtube video solve proving the saying "there is more than one way to skin a cat" I also agree with some of the other comments about the panel opposite the cube room. You really should either lower that panel and make all surfaces able to bridge jump to or make the top tiles gray and stop worrying about aesthetics!

Col. Hogan I put a portal magnet there, which puts the portal in the right position. It would have been possible to just add black surfaces, but that would make the map look worse. This will need to change...

Квємон Bruh. I'm NOT limiting my thing. In fact I found your posted solution on youtube and guess what? It's what I've been trying to do ! But the map will not allow me to make the sideways leap as I shoot the portal into the cube room. Maybe you map program is corrupted? Anyways here is the youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3Jpvl7nBMw Like this IS your map, right?

Hmm, I don't really agree with that calculus — from the standpoint of player enjoyment, not having a design that randomly causes the player to die for performing totally logical actions is much more important than having it look slightly better. (I forget; Does that surface even need to be three units tall, or can it just be the top part? Because if so, why not just make it one voxel?)

Nobody No-one Agree for portal magnets. But, if I make non-portal usable surfaces there, the map will look worse.

Col. Hogan Bruh. You're just really limiting yourself in thinking.
