Settings are very easy to configure. At the main menu, click settings and press the cheats box, and you'll be able to use the cheat menu. Similar to source games, press the tilda key "~" on your keyboard and you'll see the cheat menu in the corner. Congrats! You have gotten cheats!

After enabling cheats in the settings menu, in the cheat menu, type without quotes, "union" and then type the names of two countries separately. If the country has more than two words in its name, say the Soviet Union, type that country's name with quotes. After that, type the name of the country you wanna create.

Boom! You have a new country, a reveal screen will show what your country looks like. Press 'Add to your Collection' to use this country and view it in the collection screen.

Now that your custom country is finished being created, simply go into an era, like classic conquest for example, and click on a random territory. Now type in the cheat menu, "spawn_on_selected_territory" and then the name of the country your trying to spawn on that spot. For example, Great Britain. And if you did it correctly, that nation is on the territory you selected!

You can keep doing this until the map is completely filled with custom or pre-created nations! Now that WW2 or whatever scenario you are trying to make is not just a thought!

Enjoy your countries and scenarios! Here are a few disclaimers though-

- The collection screen can cut off, if you add too many countries many of them won't be on the collection screen due to this.

- Too many countries can heighten the size of the game. As long as you don't make like, 100+ countries you are fine.
