  • In vanilla, if you get up without pressing the 'Run' key (left shift by default) the character gets up slowly.
  • With this mod you get up fast.
  • Without this mod, but after reading it, you should always press the 'Run' key when getting up.
  • This version is for B41 and earlier versions. For B42 and further, use the linked version here.

@RãקּŦɵ۳ ™ Yes, but many people either don't know that, forget, or when they don't forget they mess up the timing by pressing shift just a split second too late (or let it go a split second too early) and are then locked into the slower get up animation. Which can absolutely end a character.

Honestly this should just be built into the vanilla options as a toggleable. There's balance built-in to the action anyways, because fast standing utilizes a non-negligible amount of endurance. So depending on how long you were sitting before needing to move, fast standing can potentially nullify all of the endurance regen that sitting afforded you. An example of when this would most commonly occur is when utilizing "micro-sits" to help manage endurance use during unexpectedly drawn-out skirmishes or engagements with hostiles.
