Solving Thirstation Puzzle

I'm not going to say how to get here unless you really want a spoiler. However, I will tell you the solutions to the 3x3 puzzle.
The puzzle type is known as lights out. I personally hate these... so I’ll try to help those who feel the same way.

If I have anything wrong please let me know and I’ll sort it.

B = Blue Statue
R = Red Statue
X = Hit the statue marks with X once
0 = leave alone. No touchy :D
Alternatively, like my previous guide and as recommend by camelotcrusade I'll provide a number sequence you could also follow.

If you mess up at all you can reset the pattern by leave and re-entering the station

first of all, when you enter the station the puzzle will be laid out like so:
RBR
BRB
RBR
Getting the grid BLUE
Starting from the default grid. Rotate each one once.

XXX

Rotate sequence;

123
456
789

This will turn the grid Blue.
Getting the entire grid RED
Once you have the entire grid blue.

OXO
XOX

Rotate sequence;

1 0 2
0 3 0
4 0 5


Now the grid is all red.
Solving the puzzle to open second water gate
First of all turn the entire grid blue.
Then hit the statues like so

Now the pattern is solved.

Hi there. Thanks for the input :D, I get what you are saying. Originally my guide did just have the X's and O's but some people found the number sequences easier to understand. To make everyone happy I added both for solving the puzzles.

Hi, just found this and wanted to say 2 things, first in this kind of puzzle doesn't matter when you turn what, the reault is always the same, like when you do 2+5 or 5+2, the result is always 7, no matter what, and second I posted a more streamlined version that allow you to open both chests and the door here:

Thanks for the guide. It would have helped me to have specific instructions since a bunch of X's didn't mean anything to me. So if that confused anyone else

Very nice guide, but I'd like to note that the order doesn't matter at all ! All that matters is which krabs you swap and which ones you don't.

So another way to note the solutions (which might be easier to read for some people) would be something like :

Hit each statue marked with X once :

-BLUE

XXX
XXX
XXX

-RED

XOX
OXO
XOX

-GATE

OOO
XXX
XXX

Not asking you to change your guide mind you, just putting this out there in case it helps somebody ^^
