In this guide, I will teach you how to spawn NPCs, as well as tell you about their settings and their sections.
The guide is designed for beginners, but if you are already an old player, then please rate my guide anyway so that more people see it.

Spawn NPC

Hold down Q, open the NPC tab and click on the square

Sections of NPCs and their features

Animal

The section with "Animals" contains only 4 NPCs.
3 of them are just birds that include crows, pigeons and seagulls.
But what is Father Gregory doing there? Everything is even too simple as you might think at first glance, this is a simple mistake or a joke from Harry.

Combine

This is a section with hostile soldiers and their equipment from HL2 or just Combines.
It represents little of interest, because all this has already been perfectly shown in HL2.
But, these NPCs, together with the NPCs from Humans + Resistance, have one isolation that we will move on to a little later.

Humans + Resistance

This is a section consisting of key and partner NPCs from HL2, they can join the player's squad and fight with the NPCs from the Combine tab, they also have some feature that we will move on to again later.

Nexbot

"Nexbot" is a section containing a Test NPC, most likely it was made to test the animation of these same NPCs. Also, if you download a mod that says "Nexbot", then it will appear in this tab.

Zombies + Enemy Aliens

This tab contains Zombies, antlions and similar monsters from Zen, except Vortigonts.

NPC management

And so, to control the NPC, we need to hold down Q, then select the "NPC" tab and then its settings will be available to you.

Disable thinking

is a feature that allows you to literally stop time for NPCs

Ignore players

NPCs live their own lives, but they don't care about you

Keep corpses

By enabling this feature, all the NPCs you killed become Ragdolls and you can now play with them.

Join the player's squad

If you have this function enabled, then NPCs will follow you as in HL2, and a window with the number of these NPCs will appear in the lower right corner.
