Wood elves forest tactics buff

Description
This mod applies a passive to all normal and modded wood elf units to gain snipe, perfect stealth and forest spotting inside forests. It doesn't really effect their combat performance, however it should allow for more complex and creative tactics by using detecting and intel to the user's advantage.

Why? Wood elves are themed around forests, however don't really have a signature gameplay changing buff inside forests, this should greatly help with that, now doing a battle in a map that is covered in forests should feel very beneficial by being able to both detect enemies within forests with ease as well as countering their movements due to perfect stealth.

How is this thematic? I guess the trees whisper the location of the enemy units to the elves and the elves are able to hide perfectly within the forest due to them having lived there their entire life.

Keep in mind however that you need to be in a forest to spot enemies, you can't really talk to trees when you're not next to them.

lower dificulty ai tends to be dumber (somehow) i think their search patterns are worse so that might be a factor. might as well crank battle ai as high as possible youll barely notice the difference appart from the precognition for dodging arty and spells

you'll have to use RPFM, look for the table with "all wef units" or something, then replace that with "wef tree characters" or something

i kinda want this mod to instead have them move faster in the woods in exchange for snipe. i think its too OP.

A question, how can imade to let this abilitie only to tree units ana waywatchers and not the elve units?Congrats, this is such a wonderfull mod!

in my cases the AI sends units to investigate, often just one or something, but the AI does not seem to ignore them one bit

About snipe, the AI is tactically abysmal against things it can't see, where a human could easily guess where a shot is coming from based on getting hit, so in general, I don't like snipe. Personal preference

I tried 25% speed bonus but not all units can go faster, cavalry cant go faster or something,
i have no idea about snipe as its super rare ingame

Great mod and idea! I've personally swapped unspottable and snipe for strider and immune to psychology, then stat scalar_speed 25%

I consider unspottable snipe an AI killer, and didn't want that, but wanted to capture the essence of flitting wood elves
