Dear car salesmen. hereby i want to introduce a easy guide how to get back your money when one of your save files will get corrupted.

Step 1 : Start a new game.

Step 2 : Save the game

Step 3 : Go to main menu

Step 4 : ALT+TAB or quit the game

Step 5 : Go towards your local files (documents) and search ''Car Dealership Simulator''

Step 6 : Go toward the map folder called ''SavedGame''



Step 7 : Open the savefile (latest time/date) with notepad (click right mouse button and choose the option ''open with'' and choose notepad) and search for ''Money'' in the list (nearly at the bottom of the list)



Step 8 : Type the amount of money you want and SAVE the notepad

- Example as the picture or: 9.821751E+08

Step 9 : ALT+TAB back to your game or start/restart the game and click continue or load your last game/save file

Step 10 : Play and continue your carreer as a succesfull businessmen

@Capt.ประเทศไทย Thank you have every thing working got my days back and set money pretty close to where it was. Took the liberty of changing my thirst and hunger to 999. Hope I can finish playing now.

@denman516 first of all sorry to hear your game crashed and became corrupted, you have to fill in the E+ ( examples you can use 9.821751E+08 or 1.07359322E+09, ) because if you fill in to many 0 it will end up in a error in the file. about your ingame days i can help you to get it back to 281. once you have created a new safe file, open it with notepad and pretty much at the beginning or the list, also the word ''Days'' changed 1 to 281 and you are back on day 281.

This does not work for me. I had 281 days in game when save disappeared. I have followed the directions to the letter multiple times. However, no one has made it clear do you type 9.821751E+08 or 100000000?

@HallMotoSportRacing First of all, thank u very much ! unfortunately the game has this problem more often, unfortunately something has become corrupted in the files (this also happens if you do not change the programming), unfortunately I have not been able to find out where it goes wrong in the programming (it may also be that you entered to much money and that's why the file got corrupted, but i dont think thats the reason why your game greyed out when you want press continue in the main menu, due i had this problem also before while just playing the game and when you wanna continue the game its suddenly greys out in the menu), so far the only option is to delete all the saved files from your local file (documents) and create a new game, hopefully this will be fixed once it comes out of early access.

I just loaded up the game and now i cant press continue its grayed out i tried pressing load game but no save files appear

You should have 400 extra steam points :)
