Excelsior-class Cruiser LITE

Beskrivning
This ship is the first true "cruiser" that I have made in over two years. The Excelsior is acting as the first of many heavier assets in my fleet for use on servers or in scripted fights. Large ships like this aren't really efficient resource-wise, but they can take quite a few hits which comes in handy in 2v1's.
This ship is the lighter version of the two ships that I field, it has been optimized to fit under 20k PCU and uses no scripts whatsoever. It is fully survival capable, with three assemblers and two refineries, plus a landing pad on top for smaller mining vessels.
Other stats: 21 railguns, 14 artillery turrets, 2 large reactors, 1 large cargo container

I take back what I said about batteries :) I've reviewed your great ship in detail and would like to use it to demonstrate the capabilities of my combat script, but I need to make a few design changes. Can I publish a modified ship on my workshop with a link to your?

Unfortunately, as cool as this ship is, I think you might need some friends or drones or something to screen for you... The lack of gatling turrets means enemy fighters can get really close and just carpet bomb you with missile pods.

But! This ship is seriously great at bombarding stations, bases, and turning enemy factions' capital ships into Swiss cheese!

Brutally effective when deployed in groups.. almost overkill.

An excellent ship in almost all respects, but more batteries could have been supplied. Railguns take a lot of energy. Subscribed! :steamthumbsup:

This ship is god damn Impressive.
You managed to combine aesthetics and functionality so damn well.
Pretty much every component and heavy armor in this ship is so well placed, and it doesn't even break 20k PCU?!

I can't think of another ship (short of meta bricks) being able to beat this in a straight up fight. And even meta bricks will probably have a hard time.:rinflipped:
