Hisui

Hisui makes it to RoA, utilizing her kit from the Melty Blood games. Rushdown your opponent with strong combos and set up traps that are ideal for edgeguarding.


Special Cancels
-On hit, Hisui can freely cancel into any of her specials to keep up the pressure. She can do this with any of her moves that aren't specials.

Moon Meter
-Hisui gains moon meter when dealing damage to the opponent. If she has at least 50% meter filled, she can use an Enhanced special by pressing parry right away afterwards.




Nspecial - Watch Your Step: Throw a random set of two items or a set pair when holding one of four directions. Enhanced version has Hisui throwing a set group of three items. Works the same in the air.

Fspecial - Sturdy Ladle: HIsui rapidly jabs with a ladle while moving forward. On the ground, Hisui can perform a follow-up jump cancellable launcher by pressing the special button during any point of the attack. Aerial version lose out the follow-up in exchange for sending slightly downwars. The enhanced version is the most consisntent version as it essentially command grabs the opponent on hit.

Dspecial - Well Deserved Rest: Hisui places a bento trap that explodes if the opponent is near it. If the special button is held, the bento gets placed farther in front of Hisui. Unlike in Melty Blood, Hisui can place a bento in the air which will remain active all the way to the ground or blast zone. Enhanced Dspecial allows Hisui to place two bentos at the same time.

Uspecial - Pardon Me: This is a variation of Hisui's dust brush special in Melty Blood. Instead of swiping in front her, Hisui swings the dust brush downawards to gain a slight vertical boost for recovering. The move has a spike hitbox on the bottom for cheeky spikes. If enhanced, Hisui will go even higher and not go into pratfall which means she can use it again.


For those on Steam who don't know yet, Hisui isn't the only Melty Blood release I have plans for. I currently have Kohaku in the works right now with the duo version being planned afterwards. I'll probably have it out by summer so stay tuned until then.
