Our hapless microwave chef may have a large variety of responses to names, but I don't know all of them. If you happen to come across any more, mention them in the comments and I'll put them up!

If you input the name of a character in the game or in the wider Sonic lore, Microwave Chef will say the following, with X substituting the character's name:

"(Like... THE X?)"
"(Haha, wouldn't that be cool.)"
"(But no...)"

The game will then proceed to boot you back to naming to pick something else.

Names that cause this:
-Sonic
-Tails
NOTE: Not Miles Prower, for some reason.
-Knuckles
-Amy
-Vector
-Espio
-Shadow
-Rouge
-Blaze
-Conductor
-Eggman
NOTE: Not Dr. Eggman or Robotnik for some reason.
-Metal Sonic
-Orbot
-Cubot
-Flicky
-Omega

...Okay, I said "in the wider Sonic lore", but for some reason the only character I could find that triggers this is Omega, who is not mentioned once in the entire game. Like, not even Big, who actually has a cameo, triggers this.

If you input something that is inappropriate for a professional environment, you get this response:

"..."
"(I don't think I could show my face around here again if I wrote that.)"
"(Let's try again.)"
After which you are forced to pick a different name. Y'know, I'm not really sure why you don't get this response from inputting Eggman.

You get this response from inputting anything profane, crude, politically charged, etc. I won't go over the whole list, but some examples include:

-Butt
-Fart
-Ass
-♥♥♥♥
-Poopie
-Willy
-♥♥♥♥
-♥♥♥

...You get the drill.

However, the way these are detected is very... interesting. They check for any instance of the letters that make the words up, with no restrictions. This includes inside of other words, which allows for very specific names to also be banned through sheer coincidence, such as:

-Monokuma (kum)
-Phoenix Wright (hoe)
-Chris Thorndyke (last 4 letters, I'm not typing it because much like Barry, I am NOT getting fired)

And then there are more... confusing ones, like:
-Uncle Chuck (leCh)
-Among Us (mong)

Honestly, it's kinda funny that this causes two of the most iconic visual novel characters from series about solving murders to be blocked out.
