for some odd reason it wont let me research the hive and says its finished but i cant seem to find it and build it now im not sure is it bc i enabled it after making the world or if its just a glitch

is it possible to make it an option where they don't generate additional hives they spread rather fast and im tired of having to slaughter like 30 insects and destroy hives
