Welcome to Tactical Assault

If you want to play co-op with your friends, start by selecting "Co-op" from the main menu. Then, choose either "PC Co-op" (on the far left) or "Cross Co-op" (in the middle). Cross-play co-op allows you to play with friends on different platforms, such as Quest.


When you select either co-op option, you will spawn in the lobby. Directly in front of you, there will be a van. To the immediate left of the van, you'll find a menu.

To create a lobby:

1. Use the keypad to generate a code, which will serve as your join code.
   
2. Choose whether your lobby will be private or open.

Your friends can join your lobby by entering the same code on the keypad and selecting "Join." If your lobby is not private, they can also join via the menu on the right side of the main menu.



To join someone else's lobby, navigate to the menu on the left of the van. You have two options: join via a code or join randomly using the tablet.

To join via a code:

1. Use the keypad on the left side of the menu.
   
2. Enter the code your friend gave you.
   
3. Click "Join Room" at the top center of the menu once you've entered the code.

To join a match randomly, use the menu on your right and select any available match.


To open your menu:

1. Press the LEFT controller and the B button on Index (or Y on Quest) simultaneously. If the menu does not appear, it might be behind you or you may need to try again.

Once the menu is open, you'll see various buttons. Focus on "SPAWN DEFENDING ENEMIES" or "SPAWN AGGRESSIVE ENEMIES."

• DEFENDING ENEMIES will defend the building behind the van.
  
• AGGRESSIVE ENEMIES will actively seek and attempt to kill you wherever you are.

here some things u might find useful:


OPEN MENU By pressing ur trigger on ur left controller and (index) B (quest) Y at the same time u will open ur menu this may be behind you or you may need to press it multiple times since the time window is small

COMS / WALKIE TALKIE grab about shoulder height on your left side to talk intro your walkie talkie for longer distance communication

FIREMODE : with ur primary hand / the hand ur holding the gun with press (index) A / (quest) X to change firemode

FLASH LIGHT :with ur secondary hand WHILE holding ur gun on one of the SECONDARY grips press ur trigger to turn on/off the flashlight on the gun

LASER SIGHT : with ur secondary hand WHILE holding ur gun on one of the SECONDARY grips press (index) A / (quest) X to turn on/off your guns laser sight

NIGHT VISION : with either hand grab above your head with trigger and press the(index) A / (quest) X button to turn on night vision | NOTE! this may take around 2 seconds and you will see nothing in that period

BONUS : press (index) B / (quest) Y while grabbing your night vision goggles to turn on GREEN MODE

The room randomizer and the main menu act as sandbox maps.


Incoming Storm is a map with multiple smaller buildings and one larger main building that is being guarded. The main objective is to retrieve sensitive data held on a USB stick. Hostages can be added as an additional challenge (this option is on the right side of the map menu in the main lobby, right under night-mode).


Hidden Forest is a very open map. Once you spawn, pick up a bomb and store it over your left shoulder. Move forward from your spawn towards 165° (use your watch for the compass). The main objective is to blow up the oil rigs with the bomb. Hostages can be added as an additional challenge (this option is on the right side of the map menu in the main lobby, right under night-mode).

Void is a map featuring a large bank that is being guarded. The main objective is to defuse a bomb. Hostages can be added as an additional challenge (this option is on the right side of the map menu in the main lobby, right under night-mode).

the building layout is as followed :

1. roof
   
2. third floor
   
3. second floor
   
4. first floor
   
5. ground
   
6. sewers / vault

This map has many small rooms and doors that will only open once you cut some wires with either your knife or a defusal kit.

You can find one defuse kit at the start in the van. You can store it over your left shoulder or in one of your tactical holsters.

How to Defuse the Bomb in Void:

1. Open the green hatch located on the back of the bomb.
   
   
2. Every 5 seconds, the defusal wire will switch to a different color and wire.
   
   
3. Cut the newly changed colored wire before it changes. (You can see the wire you need to cut on the screen at the front of the bomb.) You’ll hear a higher-pitched beep if it’s the correct wire.
   
   
4. The longer you take to cut it and the more incorrect wires you cut, the more confusing it will become.
   
   
5. Each incorrect wire cut subtracts 2 seconds from the bomb timer.
   
   
6. You must make 3 successful correct wire cuts to defuse the bomb. You have 60 seconds.

Sever Snake is set in a village and features close-quarters combat, so it's recommended to pick up an SMG. In Sever Snake, you need to eliminate and identify a High-Value Target (HVT). You can make the mission more difficult by adding a hostage or bomb.


Operation: Trident Lightning is set in a mansion located on a private island. Your main mission is to kill an HVT and upload data from a laptop located somewhere in the building.

Although I haven’t found any real Easter eggs in the game, here are some tips that might help you out:

On the map VOID, there is a skyscraper on your right that you can climb up to via a pole.

You can store some mission objects behind your left shoulder, such as the USB stick from Incoming Storm, the bomb from Hidden Forest, or the wire cutters from Void.

• You can pull the pin of a grenade while it’s holstered so that when you unholster it, the timer will start immediately (note: the handle will actually come off as soon as you unholster it).
  
• You can also holster a live grenade to become a suicide bomber. If you are at full health, you will survive the explosion (don't try this at home).

• Take morphine (medical syringes or health packs) to heal yourself or teammates. This can even bring them back to life!
  
• Don’t heal your teammates if they are at full health, as this will damage them instead.

• Smack locked doors with the back of your knife, pistol, or gun to unlock them. Alternatively, you can shoot the door multiple times to destroy it.
  
• You can also use a lock pick if you prefer a quieter method:
  
  • Place the pick-end on a locked doorknob and keep pressing the Trigger or Primary Button until the door unlocks.
    
  • Each door is assigned a random amount of "pick" time (3-5 seconds) until the door is unlocked.
    
  • You must keep the pick within the pick-area of the knob, otherwise, it will reset.
    
  • Enemies are not alerted when a door is lock-picked.

There is a watch on your left hand that gives you bearings (a compass that shows the degrees of Z rotation).

If you’re always getting your gun stuck and it keeps falling out of your hands, there is an option to fix this:

• Open your menu and go to the bottom left corner where you will see the button settings.
  
• Click on it and then navigate to Controller Prefs.
  
• At the bottom middle, select Item Stuck Action and set it to Teleport.
