Shouting "I'm unarmed" or "I have nothing" won't help you. As a player who normally runs with mid-tier gear, all that says to me is if you *had* a gun, you'd be shooting at me. "I'm friendly" doesn't help either--the kill missions for Minty and Spectre are the fastest way to level up. I don't care whether you're friendly or not, you're *competition* and the only difference is that unarmed or naked players are less of an immediate threat.
If you want to make friends, an extraction shooter isn't the place to try it. If you need raid buddies, there's an official Discord server where you can go to find teammates. If you need friends...I hear Animal Crossing is lovely this time of year.
If there's something I'd love to see, is maybe mapping out parts of the map and how much loot there is in it/how much high quality loot in it. For example on the Island there are parts with great loot (like the huge white building) and sometimes it's small and eh (church)
