PMW-SV-SC Mantis - Shako

PMW proudly presents their entry for the 3rd Anvil designer's challenge of 2023; build a compact attack SV. This highly shielded, core 7, SV is intended for mid to late game planetary POI attacking. It is nimble and beefy and has the fire power to take on shielded opponents. The design goal was to build a vessel that has a beefy and fast charging shield, without breaking the bank. It has 5 turrets (2 laser and 3 plasma) and 4 laser cannons to get shields down quickly (and keep them down). The 4 rocket launchers can do damage when the shields are down, their splash damage will make sure nothing survives.
Creature comforts can be found inside of the vessel, as well as a passenger seat. A drone hatch makes for a safe option inside the vessel to retrieve loot or scout downed OPVs. You could also fit some CPU upgrades in there, or just chip away a few extensions from the big ammo hold (be careful not to 'break the chain'). You could install some more thrusters or fancier weapons (maybe after upping the power supply).
NO WARP DRIVE; this is a cheap, fairly expandable, attack vessel. For the same reason: CHARGE SHIELDS FIRST, before flight.
