Otherwise it sorta struggles. Its not generally safe to fire at enemies unless they are alone. It melts whatever you point at it though.
It's a railgun repeater, so we can fire throw anyting, buidings AND hills or montains !!
So you can strike using a 100% cover.
The range is correct, and you can strike at low range with the small penality.
And , the bigest advantage is you can fire even moving, the spread is very accurate when standing et very good when moving.
You can fire 2 or 3 times within the 5 seconds so you can kill anyone.
I have 2 mech using this and it's a pleasure to use.
Vulcan is the second best for me, because of the huge amount of impact and damage. You stop anyone. The only probleme is you cannot move dureint a long time so you are exposed against fires ans missiles (damn missiles, I hate them) ! (maybe because you cannot see the future.
Dragon is good but we have to be too close to do correct damages (like melee weapons), the spread is too high.
Plus since it's a railgun, if I'm fighting superior numbers I can just camp behind a wall or building and fire through it for at best 50% reduced damage. It does get dicey if the enemy closes the gap, but that's what covering and pinning fire from three other mechs is for.
