Helmut Holt would hardly qualify as a volunteer test subject for the genetic enhancement programme - memory-wiped chaps, brought in under the radar by intelligence operatives, seldom are. The few unofficial details claim he was part of some kind of self-sustaining, technology-rejecting cult that went berserk and was eradicated. His memory got wiped by High Court decision but the secondary effects were too much to handle for regular clinics. He understandably keeps to himself quite a lot, but other than that, he made himself useful around the facility.
