The party leadership has decided to establish a new free trade zone on the Sea of Okhotsk to further expand Soviet influence.
You have the task to represent a shining example of Soviet superiority.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
The Free Trade Zone is located on a mountainous coastal section of our borders to the east. Ancient pine forests dot the mountain valleys, which has produced rich coal deposits.
As we are currently pursuing other infrastructure projects, we are granting you limited mining rights to a major uranium deposit. It is located not far from the border on a coastal mountain range.

The already existing highway, created in an old community project, will be of great use to you. There are already rest areas and gas stations. The supply of fuel stations is already arranged. However, the fuel supply will not last forever. Interchanges have already been built at possible locations for settlements or industries.

The rail network is more developed on the Soviet side than on the western side. Due to the heavy terrain, the use of ships & trucks is recommended instead of expensive tunnel construction.

There is also a simple 14MW power grid that runs from border to border.

Iron is abundant in the mountains & on the west side of the large mountain range.
Bauxite deposits are easily found throughout the northern & southern mountain ranges.
Agriculture is recommended on the valley sides of the mountain ranges.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

Their free trade zone borders Japanese controlled territory & the Japanese operate an underground research facility with the USA in the Northern Mountain Region.

Info

The nuclear reactor in the mountain was removed & the remaining structure serves as a deco

The gas stations at the rest areas are supplied, but not very effectively.

The Soviet border has water treatment & a usable sewage system. Additionally, the border post has a fuel tank that does not refill on its own.

The vehicles on the map are 1960s standard.

The smallest level of electricity is imported at the Soviet border so that everything runs .

It is recommended to play with complex traffic settings. Otherwise road restrictions will not work. The intersections in front of the customs houses can be easily retrofitted with traffic lights, at the NATO border the traffic lights must be manually synchronized while the game is paused. Since the intersections consist of 2 joined segments.

For train connections, bridge building or tunneling is recommended to bypass the roads.

I've hardly built any rail networks in the game so far, let alone used trains to any great extent. You'll have to optimize it yourself.

no long time tested

I made the traffic circle in the valley a single Super Node. In case traffic behaves strangely or does not want to enter when a vehicle is in the traffic circle. You can also decompose the nodes again and restrict them to the entrances.
