1. Introduction
I have released several addon extraction programs before.
But they suffer from optimization and tight binding to the "gmad.exe" process. I wanted to make something faster, and that won't use coprograms to run.
2. Installing
2.1 Installing the Net 6
The "Net 6" package must be installed for the application to work. Download it from this link:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0/runtime

Select the category that allows you to run desktop applications:




2.2 Installing the application
.After installing the package, you can download the application. You can do this by following this link:
https://github.com/Shark-vil/GDesktopExtractor/releases/latest

Select the version for your system:



I recommend putting the startup file in a separate folder, as it will create additional files. Example:


3. How to use
3.1 Launch the application and open the settings menu.



3.2 Assign paths to the game files.



3.3 Go back and click the "Scan" button.



3.4 Wait for the scan to complete. This process can be long only the first time. Subsequent loading will be fast.


Note: the speed of scanning and extracting the add-on also depends on your drive! If your game is installed on an SSD, and you extract add-ons on an SSD, it will be faster than if you were working with an HDD!


3.5 You can highlight one or more lines with the Shift key, and extract addons via the extract menu.

I hope this will be helpful to someone. If you find bugs in the app, you can report them in the comments. But it's better to do it on GitHub[github.com] or on my Discord server[discord.gg], you can open tickets there.

Creating a guide is a way to grab attention and also to boost search indexing.

Making a guide means that it's hard to install. Logically. I see no issue sin downloading an installer and opening it with two clicks.

I see no pain in installing "Net Core" and then running the "exe" file with two left mouse clicks.

What I mean is, why go through the pain of installing this when you can just use a simpler method.

I use what's comfortable for me. And I give it to people because I'm for open source software. Whether you need it or not is up to you.
