Due to the state of KSP 2 most of the modding community has abandoned this game, and i myself have no wish to support anything to do with it going forwards unless something drastically changes (this seems very unlikely as it is now owned by an investment fund).

TURN KSP 1 INTO WHAT 2 SHOULD HAVE BEEN

1. Download CKAN modloader[github.com] This is just a mod manager/loader similar to Wabbajack for Bethesda games.

2. Follow the steps in this amazing guide by _myst who spent all this time curating and putting together a new mod list for KSP 1

Download Ckan to have access to the mod compatibly with current game. This mod manager is what is recommended by the modding community of the game and does a great job ensuring proper packaging and structure of file locations... also ensure dependencies for a installed.

there is an auto updater option.

When you install CKAN.. it will ask you for the game instance. Click on the .Exe for KSP2 and the rest is pretty intuitive.

such toxic comments. mods aint got shit on what developers do to build a game. mods just slot in to what the devs already built. even modders will tell you this
