- Length : 18.31 m
- Height : 4.88 m
- Wingspan : 13.62 m
- Maximum speed : Mach 1.6
- G-limit : 7.5 G
- Crew : 1

- The F/A-18E Super Hornet is twin-engine, carrier-capable, multirole fighter aircraft variants based on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet

- The F/A-18E single-seat and F/A-18F tandem-seat variants are larger and more advanced, derivatives of the F/A-18C, D Hornet

- The F/A-18E/F's radar cross-section was reduced greatly from some aspects, mainly the front and rear. The design of the engine inlets reduces the aircraft's frontal radar cross-section

- The Super Hornet entered fleet service with the U.S. Navy in 1999
