If it had seemed that painful/impractical during my tests I would have tried something to deal with it.
Because I did tests, and indeed it can be a bit tedious, but it ends up working ok after a couple attempts. It's not so much the direction of the footpath, but how long it is, which I think is a small issue out of my control. As you can see in the previews, paths do connect on the entrances of the L building.
It's nice to encounter people from the places I get my models from. I hope I reproduced an accurate feel of these buildings :)
I have some more stuff from Izhevsk on the works :)
