Setup

Hold both jump keys to jump up
To skip the binding of the secondary key that you don't need, choose the same key as the primary

Note:

On the Ghost of the Babe map in one area, you have to spam the jump key. This setup is not useful to do that, so you will need to use the default controls setup if you gonna beat this map.

@UnnaturalShadows, with this setup you can't accidently press direction key before jump key. Also it's easier to get right timing if you press one key instead two imo. I complete whole game with this setup (except botb last area) and it seemed more comfortable to me than default setup.

You don't have to spam jump if you are good.
