Mod Features

  • New rarity tier: Legendary.
  • 15 new Legendary weapons and items
  • 8 new Rare weapons and items
  • 9 new Common weapons

Most of the new weapons are weapons used by enemies, but they were adjusted to player so they have a place and a purpose. Some of the weapons and items were already in game files, but were unused so I brought them back. And finally some of the weapons are my own creations from scratch.

Legendary items and weapons are twice as rare as Rare weapons. You can find them in any Swag bag through out the game.

Each act has 5 Legendaries to find.

I tried to keep this mod as balanced as possible, but if you think something is overpowered or underpowered feel free to leave feedback in the comment section.

Installation
Place mod_expanded_armory folder into DLC folder of your SteamWorld Heist directory, for example:

C:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SteamWorld Heist\DLC

When you load a save, a popup window should appear confirming that the mod has been installed.

Additional Storage

Replaces Large Storage Units with Shiner Chests.

There are 3 chests available to buy, one per act. They can increase overall inventory size by 60.

Scrapper area has Wooden Chest that increases inventory size by 10.
It costs 5000 water.

Royalist area has Iron Chest that increases inventory size by 20.
It costs 15000 water.

Vectron area has Golden Chest that increases inventory size by 30.
It costs 45000 water.

Chests can be purchased at Backwater Bodgea shops.

Installation steps are the same like with Expanded Armory mod.

Steady Aim

Greatly reduces sway when aiming weapons.

Works with all weapon types. It's especially noticable when using long range sniper ricoshets.

Installation steps are the same like with Expanded Armory mod.

No, but I did start on a completely new save, like literally first boot of the game on this pc. I think theres a way to edit the loot table, I remember looking into that a while ago when I was just getting to the core

Just the storage and aim mods also listed here, I forgot the aim mod was even on

Oh, if that's the case that's indeed concerning. I also use outsider dlc so this mod should be compatible with it.

Do you use any other mods?

No, I mean I have ONLY gotten legendary, none of the rare of common mod weapons

Weapon drops seem extremely rare, I have 24 hours in and only have a handful, all of which are legendary. Elite difficulty too
