Although a difficult one, and I didn't execute the 2nd part of it well enough to pass the level, but it proves the concept.
But I figured out a shorcut instead and didn't know it wasn't the intended solution: https://youtu.be/ze88sfpaBEk
It ruins the fun a little bit, but still a cool puzzle. The shortcut can be easily fixed with a fizzler that would prevent shooting the portal that facilitates the shortcut.
Basically go to the other side, turn off the laser, putting the cube on the very edge of the wall as intended, but then place the funnel portal to push the button towards the door while standing in the laser wall. You then have enough time to get behind the laser wall before the bounding box of the cube leaves the part where the laser points, and then you can grab the cube from behind the lasers. Just a shortcut that should maybe be fixed... if thats even possible
