Very Quick and Simple fix for the 21.6 Update
This mod is Standalone and dosn't require the Original Genes+ Revived.

did some testing, and had no more errors

Do genes only spawn after a certain point in campaign or is the spawning of them bugged on incubation pods?

do i need the original mod or nah? cuz the original wont let me load in a save so
the comment section is a mess so i couldnt figure it out

I do not use Genes+Revived, no. The only mod I got regarding genes is this one.

@RpgBlaster sorry to hear that, but without any error messages i can't fix whatever is causing the problems, my only guess would be the error reportet by Echo that I'm fixing right now, or a incompatibility created by the Overwrite im using for the Gene spawns (that was previously done using a now broken roundabout way) with another mod that i don't have installed.

So i would be happy with any error logs you might have, or information if you have the Original Genes+Revived subscribed(and Activated) or other mods that add genes that may cause problems.

All i can say is that with my currently installed mods playing the game and joining and hosting Servers works.

@Echo just for clarification, do you have Genes+Revived Subscribed because I'm not getting the same error, so it could be because i have it downloaded.

im fixing it now since i don't even know why it is that way but would be Happy for a reply.

I think it's causing Errors corruption and not letting players join my server, thank you for the Hotfix, but it's not working for other players that try to join my server, sorry

Hey, just wanted to let you know: The watcher gene makes the game crash because of a mod reference in the sprite declaration:

Exception: "Genes Revived 21.6Hotfix" depends on a package with name or ID "Genes+Revived" that is not currently installed. (Barotrauma.MissingContentPackageException)

Genetic/Appendages/watcheremp.xml

"%ModDir:Genes+Revived%/Textures/Genetic.png"
should (probably, not tested) be
"%ModDir%/Textures/Genetic.png"
