As you may have heard, Nintendo has been attacking all workshop characters with its IP. If this continues, Oshawott will most likely be a target.
If it ever gets taken down, I assure everyone that he will find his way back to the Fray, even if we have to go to a third-party website (Hopefully a Fraymakers MUGEN Archive-like site?). Hopefully, a new update will be trickling out this summer, and this workshop purge won't affect the update's progression until it gets removed.
I was raised by the stories and characters that Nintendo has created. Therefore, if I were ever to be approached by Nintendo to remove the mod, I would swiftly remove it from the Workshop. I may not understand their legal practices, but I understand them as a brand. So, in case we get removed, it's been an honor doing this. If I were to make another mod, it would be something more original.
Thank you for supporting Oshawott
- Super
Really, I didn't think that Oshawott would have this much of an impact on the Workshop. But with this number of users, multiple videos of him, and being featured in a tournament sponsored by Trolli Candy, I can not express this excitement into words.
Thank you all so much
