man i spent a good 5 min trying to guess what country you did this as, went full sherlock holmes on that. On one hand, minimap, carribean trader and war with mexico shows that you might have started as a colonizer, but UK and the Netherlands is alive, France may be seen in Africa, Castille and portugal would probably never let independant mexico form. On the other hand you have republican tradition, which might hint at genoa or venice. I'm gonna put my ducats on Genoa cause you probably would not let ottomans grow as much as Venice.
