The Wheel

Beskrivelse
With each turn its cilia pulse and wriggle and its body flushes translucent to crimson. It might be ugly but it is beautiful like the withdrawing of blood from the labyrinths of glass. It does not cease and all its involutions are infinite. The Wheel.

The Wheel is a dll mod that lets you adjust how fast the 'Fast Forward' speed actually is. There used to be a mod on the workshop (Adjustable Fast Forward) that did essentially the same thing, but it has since broken and isn't being maintained. This mod now has more features than its predecessor, and more are planned.

Currently, you can use P to skip forward 1 second and Z to skip forward 10 seconds, press / to skip to next verb completion, or H to skip to next card decay or verb completion, whichever's first.
The keybinds are configurable, and the defaults are probably nonsensical.

Note: The most recent beta branch update caused the codebases to diverge enough that the mod will not work on both versions. This version only works on the beta (gateofhorn) branch.

The image was generated a long time ago, far before the ai craze actually began in earnest. It's just here now through inertia. if anyone has a better image it can be changed

@tabletopfriend1 Same. I ignored it and only realized that it was a mod I wanted when someone mentioned it in the comments of another mod. Distressed.

This can happen because of the way the game handles floating point and some cards being created before the tick is fully processed. This mod can fix it most of the time:

good mod but i'm distressed by the image being AI generated

Whenever I skip to next decay/verb, the result is that instead of receiving a card with 60.00s left, I receive 59.81s. This is consistent and happens every time with those cards. Is this normal?

@Vitu @MicroHate , It works, but here's the thing:
YOu gotta go to the "sixth story" and enable GHIRBI, and THEN also enable The Wheel once you're subscribed to both of them, THEN restart

if after all that nothing works, try unsubscribing, closing steam, deleting your workshop folder, and starting it again

The mod, as of 5th of January 2025, works

I may be restarted, I find this mod not working for me.
