Jack and Burden are both in a torture room. Your torturers, Irving and Alexander, want all the info you have about Xenolifer's plan and how you got into the room on Chapter 1 so easily. Of course, once you confess all the info they want they don't have any more reason to keep you both alive so the objective is to survive all the torture and give the less info they want


After the introduction, you'll be given the choice to choose between Burden and Jack these options:
- Provoke: Taunts Irving (If you chose Burden) or Alexander (If you chose Jack) and receives a hit depending on which one you chose

- Beg: Makes you beg for mercy and get a little break, clicking on this option will make you get one of these three possibilities:
"That won't work. Now, answer" Both Burden and Jack won't rest, but they both won't receive any damage.

"Ok, ok. We have plenty of time. Breath..." You both recover a bit from the injuries

"Perhaps you aren't familiar with the concept of 'Torture'" This is the worst-case scenario, you failed begging and you both receive damage

- Think: Both of you receive damage but increases the chance of getting a successfull lie

- Lie(%): Tells a lie to their actual question, if you have a high percent chances are that your lie will go through, else you both get damage for being "funny"

"It makes sense... Doesn't it? I don't know, next question." Your lie went through and your lie percent will go again to 10%

"That was funny." Your lie failed and you both get damage for it, your lie percent will decrease a bit.

- Confess: You tell the truth to their actual question, confessing too much times will make you get killed and lose the chapter.

At the end of each day (From Day 2 Onwards) Liam will come and ask one of three stuff you want:

- Painkillers: Makes you contain the pain making you resist more hits before dying
- Healing Kit: Recovers you totally
- Information: Liam will tell you what they want, making your lie percent to go incredibly high

Keep in mind that what you ask him to get you'll get/use it TWO days later! For example: If you ask for Info on Day 2 night, he'll come and give you what they want on Day 3 night, so your lie percent will increase on Day 4!

• Liam said you have to resist 22 days of torture for their Xenolifer group comes to rescue, but THAT'S NOT TRUE! You only have to resist 9 days since the 9th day at night the ECUK (or Everdusk) will blow the wall and rescue you, making the chapter to end.
  
• Beg Twice, if the first try beg didn't work chances are that your second try will work, at least it worked lots of times for me.
  
• At the russian roulette part, don't risk it too much, thinking twice making you get 1 of 5 bullets to actually hit you and then use lie (If you did the guide right you should get it a high percent of it) and then confess.
  
• At the rack part, if you done this guide correctly, only provoking will make it, and makes Jack / Burden alive
  
• You can only confess 3 times, a fourth one will make Irving kill you (I guess you can confess more on Easy mode, not sure about this.)
  
• If Burden/Jack is in a bad state you can try provoking with Jack/Burden, while one is being hit the other can rest a bit, usually it takes two hits untill the other one changes the state animation.

This guide also works on Easy mode, notable changes is that Burden and Jack takes more hits before dying and the Russian Roulette part has only 4 possible actions to end the day (5 actions on Original)

This part is actually pretty easy, the best you can do here is to increase your lie percent, think twice and then use both Jack and Burden to provoke, there should be no problems here.

• What you should ask to Liam: Medkit

Just the same as Day 1, provoke a lot but this time also beg, do not use your lie option yet because we'll use it for future days!

TIP: Burden suffers more than Jack on this day, every hit Irving does will change Burden's state but for Jack it takes two, my suggestion here is while Burden is in a bad state let Jack provoke untill Burden feels better.

• Torture Weapons: Tooth-puller
  
• Available: Burden and/or Jack
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Painkiller (If Jack is alive) / Medikit (If Jack is dead)

Just the same as the other 2 days, it shouldn't be hard if you know when to beg or provoke, still neither lie or confess.

• Torture Weapons: Flaming Crowbar (Irving) / Flaming Fist (Alexander)
  
• Available: Burden and/or Jack
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Information

This one is actually different from the others, this time you have 2 chances to provoke, the first time you provoke Liam or Alexander will place his crowbar or fist near the character's face.


What you have to do is provoke once for both Jack and Burden, then beg twice (If the first try didn't work, do it only when your state of both is really really bad.). Rinse and repeat untill the day's over.

Also try not to make both suffer alot, keep both in a good state because you're gonna need it on Day 5 if Jack is alive.

• What you should ask to Liam: Painkillers

If you're here it's probably that:

• You just want to know this what happens
  
• You didn't follow my guide correctly
  
• You did follow my guide correctly but still this happens (Which is very improbable)

What most probably didn't expect is that Burden can also be on the rack on Day 5, this is where most of I know let Jack die because they didn't know you only have 1 chance to think/beg because doing it twice and fail makes Jack die.

Keep in mind that the one who's in a worse state will stay at the chair, meaning that if Jack is almost dying, Burden will go to the rack and viceversa.

This is where the Painkillers comes in handy on this day, you can provoke all the time and the day will end easily.

If done right you should get this scene

• Torture Weapons: Revolver (1 of 7 Chances to die, he later respins the revolver)

This is probably the worst part of this chapter, IT'S BASED ON LUCK AND YES YOU CAN EVEN DIE FROM THE VERY FIRST SHOT
This is where at this point you should have a 100% of lying.

If you're really lucky, you can do this without confessing. Irving will respin the revolver after 3 failed shots and you get again 1 of 7 chances to die. The day ends after 5 failed shots on Original. (Self-experience)

Since doing whatever but confessing makes Irving shoot the trigger, I would suggest that you first lie (So you use your 100% chance) and then think three times (More useful than provoking, since both gives you the same end), and hope to the Gods that are Watching us nothing happens and then lie again

If you're not feeling THAT lucky enough, lie once, then think twice and then confess twice.

• Torture Weapons: Fist
  
• Available: Burden and/or Jack
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Information (If Jack is alive) / Painkiller (If Jack is dead)

Back to the punches again, only difference is that this day will take longer than the others, so it's possibly that you have to beg after lots of provokes.

Again try both to get on a good condition at the end of the day because Day 8 one will go to the rack, same as Day 5.

• Torture Weapons: Flaming Crowbar
  
• Available: Burden
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Whatever you want, since Day 9 night ECUK/Everdusk will go rescue you.

Just the same as Day 4, only exception is that this day will take longer than the others, so be careful when provoking too much.

Again you get two chances of provoking before getting hit by the crowbar, if you follow my tip the day will end fast.

TIP: Irving sometimes drops his crowbar even after provoking you, if he does, provoke again, then try to think so your lie chances increase, it's really useful because if you get a successful lie Burden will kinda rest and get a better state.

• Torture Weapons: Flaming Crowbar/Flaming Fist - Rack
  
• Available: Burden (If Jack is on the rack) or Jack (If Burden is on the rack)
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Whatever you want, since Day 9 night ECUK/Everdusk will go rescue you.

Just the same as before, only that Irving or Alexander will bring a crowbar or a flaming fist and like the other day you have 2 chances to provoke, same as Day 7 it will take longer than expected but there shouldn't be any problems since you have Painkillers and it takes 2 times for the crowbar/flaming fist to actually hit you. Just provoke and pray begging also works all the time.

TIP: Irving sometimes drops his crowbar even after provoking you, if he does, provoke again, then try to beg (only once if the begging failed), rinse and repeat if begging works or at least, "That won't work. Now, answer" since that still counts as an action

• Torture Weapons: Tooth-puller
  
• Available: Burden
  
• What you should ask to Liam: Does it really matter

Same as Day 3, only that the again the day takes longer to end so be careful and try to beg a lot.

This part only happens if Jack is alive during the 8 days.
Irving will cut Jack's arm if you provoke two times. So provoke once if you don't want Irving to successfully cut his arm.

TIP: This day only has 4 possible actions, if you never confessed at the roulette scene then you can first lie (Better safe than sorry if it's not a 100% lie chance), if the lie worked then provoke once, and then confess twice so you can get "We've been through worse" achievement BUT ONLY if you don't have "I'm not a snitch" achievement. If you don't have it let Irving cut Jack's arm, because it's a miracle if you went through 8 whole days without confessing once and you'll probably never gonna get this chance again.

I just let Irving cut Jack's arm because it ends faster.
