But generallay my favorite traditions for most my games are: Laws, Strategy + Tactics and if i'm lucky sometimes i pick Navigation, not always because i found out way better meet my enemies on my castles, even if sometimes it doesn't work at all (razzias ruin my food supply).
Oh, Theocracy/Religion (idk how is named) sometimes is kinda useful when invading other religions, other useful traditions at my view is writing or learning, and sometimes i add the archery tradition for my castles defense + siege tradition.
But again, all depends your circumstances, because if you focus too much on military then is harder to convert your population or make them loyal to you.
I'm not an expert, i'm not a proplayer and i never cared about what's 'the most op' so maybe my strategies and ideas aren't the best ones. lol
I never thought the religion was so important.
There is any reason for Shia Caliphate be stronger than Sunni Caliphate?
(Something i do to don't get bored is start at one province only, maybe with kingdoms or provinces but only 1 province, and start from there, everybody else has historical borders, specially funny my game with Attica and the rush against Serbia and Bizantium)
