General advice for the game:
  • Check very carefully around the lobby and try clicking different areas. There are some things that are easy to miss.
  • You may have to check places or things more than once. If it didn’t work the first time, it might work later, including codes you put into the elevator (some people have had trouble getting codes to work the first time, so if you tried a code earlier and it didn’t work but you think it was correct, try it again just in case).
  • If the code you’re trying to enter starts with a 1, you don’t have to hit the 1 button first since you start on the first floor (same as when you play the regular elevator game, the first number is 1, but you don’t hit the 1 button first).
For this guide:
  • Read through the guide in order and make sure you did all those steps first, instead of skipping around the guide, since there are some endings you can get in any order.
  • Hint 1 is the least spoilery hint, Hint 2 is slightly more helpful, and so on, so read the hints in order if you want to solve it yourself, before looking at the solution.
Main endings:
To start: At the start of the game, the first time Asahi tries the elevator game, the elevator goes to the 13th floor instead of the 5th. Eventually that leads you back to the lobby, where you can explore it for the first time. You can also enter the elevator and try the elevator game again, which will get you the first ending. After you get the first ending, there are several options of what you can try next, so read the guide in order and make sure you did each step.

You can try the elevator game again. If it doesn’t work now, it might work again later.

The man you met outside asked you the current time (it was 1:23 AM) and said to add a 4 to that.
  • Hint 1: Remember, since you start on the first floor, if your code starts with 1, you don’t have to enter that starting 1, just enter the rest of the code.
  • Solution: Enter 2-3-4 into the elevator. Floor four should open up to a new area, and you’ll get another ending. I recommend making a save here, which will help you get an achievement later if you don’t get it the first time.

Look carefully behind the counter in the lobby, where you can find a notebook.
  • Hint 1: Make sure to read the notebook paper that says “Horse = 4”.
  • Hint 2: There is a horse on a sign near the door of the lobby. You may have to interact with this sign a couple times before the elevator code will work.
  • Solution: The sign near the door of the lobby has a ladybug with 6 legs, a horse with 4 legs, and an octopus with 8 legs. Enter 6-4-8 into the elevator. Floor eight should open up to a new area, and you’ll get another ending.

You should have found some playing cards in the lobby.
  • Hint 1: You should have 3 playing cards. If you don’t, look very carefully around the lobby.
  • Hint 2: The spades card can be found under the rug near the lobby front door. It can be a bit hard to see. The hearts card can be found under the counter, near the lucky cat and coffee cup. And the diamonds card can be found inside the trash can, near the elevator.
  • Hint 3: This code also has to do with the writing on one of the pillars that shows a spade, a heart, “FOOL”, and a diamond. Make sure to click on this note a few times (Asahi will give you a hint). You must have all 3 playing cards AND click on the pillar writing, before the elevator code will work. Some people have had trouble getting the code to work, so if you tried it before and it didn’t work, I recommend trying it again just in case.
  • Hint 4: You don’t have to find the other half of the diamonds card.
  • Hint 5: Read it from left to right.
  • Solution: The cards you have are the ace (1) of spades, the 2 of hearts, and the 9 of diamonds ripped in half. Clicking on the writing on the pillar, Asahi says the Fool in tarot cards is represented by the number 0. So from left to right on the pillar, the code you’re looking for is 1209. Enter 2-0-9 into the elevator. The ninth floor should open up to a new area, and you’ll get another ending.

There is another set of numbers in the lobby you can use now. You have to click on them first before the elevator code will work.
  • Solution: On the bulletin board near the elevator is a note that mentions an apartment 302. Enter 3-0-2 into the elevator. Floor two will open up to a new area, and you’ll get another ending.
--If you get stuck in this room, make sure to examine everything in the room first, then click on the hole.
--Now the bulletin board note has a “thank you” on it, and taped to the board is a key in the shape of a star. There is also a hole that appeared on the wall next to the elevator. Make sure to click on that a couple times.

You can use the phone now.
  • Hint 1: Use the star key from the previous step to open the door with a star on it. Look carefully around. If you haven’t already, be sure to look under the counter as well, and click on the Tarot Reading card.
  • Solution: Inside the bucket in the star-closet is a small coin. Once you pick that up, and you’ve looked at the Tarot Reading card under the counter, click on the phone. Asahi will call the Tarot number. The fortune teller will tell you the year 1780. Enter 7-8-0 into the elevator. Floor zero will open up on a new area.

If you can’t find anything else to do but you’ve done all the steps above, there is probably something you haven’t examined yet in the lobby.
  • Hint 1: Make sure you’ve examined the whiskey inside the star closet. Something else will change in the lobby.
  • Solution: After you examine the whiskey in the star closet, the clock hands will appear. If you click on it enough, Asahi will say the time is either 8:19 or 20:19. Enter 2-0-1-9 into the elevator, and the ninth floor will open up on a new area.
--If you’re stuck in this room, make sure to examine BOTH doors, then examine the desks again.

At this point, you should have 8 of the main endings (if you don’t, go back and make sure you did all the previous steps), and 21 notes (all but one). You need 21 notes to proceed. If you’re missing some notes, read below for how to find the rest:
  • Most of the notes are found automatically during the first 8 endings, but a few are not.
--To get silver note 2, click on the Lost & Found a couple times. Asahi will put the chocolate milk in, and will get a triangle key in return. Use this key to open the triangle mailbox in the lobby and receive the note.
--Silver note 4 can be found on top of some boxes inside the star closet.
--Red note 5 can be found by using the camera on the X on the wall in the back of the lobby.
--And red note 4 can be found by reaching inside the hole in the wall near the elevator and searching the right side.
--Red note 9 should be the only one you’re missing.

Now if you can’t find anything else to do: I don’t think there’s anything new in the lobby…
Solution: Remember to try the elevator game again if you can’t find anything else to do. And that should get you all the main endings.
Secret endings:
Secret Ending 1
  • Hint 1: This one is pretty easy to get, and I believe it can be done at any time in the lobby.
  • Hint 2: You will have to search an area a few times. Like, you probably already searched it a couple times but you have to do it more.
  • Hint 3: Do you reeeeeeally have to find Kirin? What if you just…didn't?
  • Solution: Click the lobby’s front door several times until you get the option to leave.

Secret Ending 2
Getting the 2nd secret ending takes several steps in two parts. You’ve probably done some of the steps already, but I’ll list them all just in case.
To start:
  • There is an X on the wall in the back of the lobby, near the boxes of BREAD. You can use the camera on this, and the wall will open up.
--After Asahi goes inside the narrow opening, she encounters a creepy being with glowing red eyes.
--Additionally, the red vent near the boxes of BREAD now has small red box on it. Make sure to examine it if you haven’t already. Asahi says the box is too high up to reach, and she has to find something to knock it down.
Part 1:
  • Hint 1: Remember those creepy glowing eyes Asahi saw in the red vent? You may encounter them again in the star closet.
  • Hint 2: Chase the glowing red eyes around the lobby.
  • Solution: You should have already seen the glowing eyes in the red vent with the box in it. The next place you can find the glowing eyes is in between some of the boxes in the star closet. Then check the vent above the mailboxes, then the vent closest to the elevator, and finally check Lost and Found, where she will hand you an item.
Part 2:
  • Hint 1: Once you have the star closet open, you have everything you need to knock the box down.
  • Hint 2: You have to click on the broom in the closet first.
Solution: Click on the broom in the star closet. Then click on the hook above the mailboxes. Asahi will climb up and take the hook. Then click on the yarn under the counter, then click on the broom again, then click on the box in the vent to knock it down. After you complete this part, you will end up with a note that says “THE FLOWER HUNGERS”.
Solution to finish: Once you’ve gotten the vial of blood and the note that says “THE FLOWER HUNGERS”, click on the plant in the lobby to use the vial of blood on it and get this secret ending.

Secret Ending 3
  • Hint 1: This ending pertains to the “Cat Found” poster in the lobby.
  • Hint 2: The poster says “call 1 --> 9”.
  • Hint 3: You don’t have to use the call button for this. Remember you don’t have to press the 1 button if your code starts with 1.
  • Solution: Go to floor 2, then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, one by one until you get to floor 9, where something new will happen, and you’ll get another ending.

Secret Ending 4
This is probably the hardest one to find without any hints, although it is possible.
  • Hint 1: It’s the only ending you can’t get on your current playthrough.
  • Hint 2: You don’t have to go very far into a new game to get it. It has to do with your choices.
  • Hint 3: There are several choices you have to make at the start of the game (such as getting Coffee or Cocoa from the vending machine). It has to do with those choices.
  • Hint 4: Some of those choices are timed…
  • Hint 5: Don’t forget with timed choices, there’s always the option to do nothing.
  • Hint 6: You only have to go through the first 3 choices in the game.
  • Solution: Start a new game. Get a Cocoa from the vending machine. The second choice (the mysterious phone call) doesn’t matter. At the third choice (standing in front of the elevator), let the time run out (or Do Nothing if you have timed choices off).
Easter eggs:
Easter Egg 1
  • Solution: This one should be gotten automatically on the floor with the blue mushrooms, but I figured I should include it here just in case.

Easter Egg 2
  • Hint 1: This one involves something inside the star closet.
  • Hint 2: There is writing on the door that says “LEON”. But it kind of looks like something else…
  • Solution: The “LEON” writing kind of looks like the numbers “11037” when turned upside down. You don’t need the starting 1, so enter 1-0-3-7 into the elevator. (This is a reference to another game.)

Easter Egg 3
  • Hint 1: This one involves the hole in the wall near the elevator.
  • Solution: Reaching your hand into the hole and searching to the left, you find a note written in Polish, with the numbers 703 written on it. Enter 7-0-3 into the elevator. The third floor will open up to a new area. (This is a reference to another NoBreadStudio game, Blankspace, which you should definitely play. :))
Achievements:
  • Most of the achievements are automatically gotten during the course of the game, although there are a couple you could miss. In general, make sure to examine everything in the lobby to get all the possible achievements there.
  • The main achievement you might miss is inside the Japanese room (in the blue mushrooms area). Click the television multiple times until you see all the possible images on its screen.
  • After doing the playing cards puzzle (the endless corridors), make sure to look up in the star closet and click on the Manager of the Universe to get that achievement.
  • Once you have all the CGs, you have to actually click on/view all of them to get the achievement for it.

For anyone having issues with the cocoa ending, you have to reach the true ending first before you can actually do it. Otherwise the game goes as normal.

Their discord server is linked on the game page, forgot to say that. Or put it in the Bug Report discussion thread on steam, maybe

Hmmm paralarva I'm not sure which ones were hidden achievements. If you have discord you can join the official devs discord and ask there, they would know better than me!

What are the actual hidden achievements by name? The bug of not getting them still is happening for me :(

Oh, I didn't add the Sacrifice Card to this guide, but you should get it by examining a card that you find under the counter . And I forgot to respond to the first comment but glad you both found it helpful!

Huh. I got it... Just found it in the lobby? Weird. Not sure what triggered that.

Thank you kindly! This guide was helpful... and honestly gave me the confidence to just push forward with one of the endings. Was tempted to chicken out.

However, I'm still missing one achievement. The Sacrifice Card. This should be a Your Turn To Die reference but not sure where to look for that. Any ideas!
