You Keep What You Kill

Beskrivning
You Keep What You Kill

Anything you personally (not your troops) kill on the battlefield you keep the equipment. Many options like percent chance, kill or ko, etc.

Gives a sense of ugency or pressure to seek out and kill high value targets on the battlefield. Also makes you want to shoot your own troops in the head when they swoop in and steal a valuable kill from you. I feel that makes the victory that much sweeter however.

Compatible with BannerKings and Diplomacy (and should be compatible with anything, even other loot mods). It does not replace any default behaviors, just extends them.

Requires ButterLib, Harmony and MCM.

Updated for 1.2.12

I had an active save that was atleast 10 hours in. I downloaded the mod then could not load into to that save. Really wanting this mod, I decided to make a new story and got 10 hours in again. Now I am trying to get into the save but it won't work. Help pls I really want to use this mod.

I am experiencing the same issue that Laxit is having, I assumed it was due to a bad interaction with the serve as a soldier mod but maybe not. what happens to me is after a crash when I reload a save. I end up with items from battles that happened after the save and before the crash, so they should never be in the inventory after reloading the save. some times it leads to a crash when opening the inventory but that seems to be after a second reload.

is it able to work with realm of thrones?

Thank you good sir!

I have also encountered the same problem as brit_orc. The mod at some point after a battle will duplicate items and then crash the game. I don’t think I have any other mods that change the LootSystem except this one. Removing the mod and trying to load the save does not fix it. The save is basically lost and you have to reload to a previous save before receiving the duplicate items.

@me - I don’t remember perfectly, its been a while, but I think I made it just you. It might be an optional setting. (It’s been years since I coded this)

Hey there! I just want to double check. If i.e. my troops kill/stun some lord, would I get their equipment too or I have to kill/stun him myself? (killing is hard thus I changed my settings to stun (newbie in bannerlord lol))

@brit_orc - I've had people mention this and null item crashes. However, i've never personally had this happen and I have this one enabled for every game/mod I play. So I'm not discounting it, but there must be some specific mod(s) that it's interacting with in some way to cause this that I guess I don't use. It's not a harmony patch, it extends the LootSystem with a customized model. If you remove the mod and then load the game does it work?
