História:
O país está sob fascismo. A primeira républica durou uns meros 16 anos até um golpe de estado ter feito cair o país numa ditadura militar. Por esta ditadura formou-se uma nova forma de Governo, o Estado Novo. Este governo cimentou-se na retirada de liberdades do povo e no enriquecimento durante a 2ª Guerra Mundial com a venda de mantimentos aos aliados e de tungsténio aos alemães.

Durante este período um Chefe de Governo demarcou-se como o simbolo deste fascismo, António de Oliveira Salazar. Mas apesar de enriquecimento durante os periodos mais negros da Europa, a perda de liberdade causou um elevado descontentamento entre civis.
E a abertura das fronteiras comerciais para a Associação Europeia de Comércio Livre ditou um traçado complicado para o futuro do país.

Com fronteiras mais liberalizadas, os ideais comunistas entram no país. Os primeiros locais a apresentarem idealistas foram as universidades. Mas estes ideais alastraram-se para os sistemas militares.

Foi neste momento que estes ideais também entraram nos territórios ultramarítimos. Angola e Moçambique, de dimensões muito superiores a Portugal, rapidamente queriam terminar a colonização dos seus territórios. Quando governo tenta usar como recurso os acordos economico-bélicos da OTAN, os membros desta organização quiseram manter-se neutros. Surgindo boatos que os americanos queriam obter controlo dos depósitos de petróleo de Angola.

Com revoluções democráticas e socio-comunistas a acontecerem pelos territórios ultramarinos, foram despachados os militares para África.
Mas os ideais comunistas já se tinham alastrado. Em protesto contra o ínicio de uma possivel guerra ultramarina, uma nova tentativa de um golpe de estado para acabar com o fascismo.

No entanto, o golpe foi pouco eficaz. Apesar de não ter havido uma guerra civil, ou caso considerássemos de apenas umas horas, o país acaba por ficar dividido em 2 territórios. Os simpatizantes com os sistemas capitalistas, na região norte do país, e os simpatizantes do socio-comunismo, maioritariamente no Alentejo e Algarve.
No entanto, um território alcunhado de Margem Sul [do Tejo] passa a ser um território de elevado interesse para a nova formada Republica Socialista de Portugal.

History:
The country is under fascism. The first republic lasted only a mere 16 years until a coup installed a military dictactorship. With this, a new government was formed, the Estado Novo (New State). This government started by removing liberties of the common people, years later it enriched itself during World War II by selling needed supplies to the allies but at the same time tungsten to the germans.

During this period a certain Government Head marked himself as a symbol of this fascism: António de Oliveira Salazar. But even with the country getting richer during one of the darkest moments of Europe, the loss of liberties caused an huge dissent among civilians. And when the comercial borders were opened to the European Free Trade Association a certain complicated future path started to be followed.

With a more liberated border, the comunist ideals seep into the country. The first places where we could find idealists were among the universities. Nonetheless this ideals quickly spread to the military systems.

It was at this moment that these ideals also spread to the ultramaritime territories. Angola and Mozambique, much larger than Portugal, quickly wanted to end their colonization. And when the government tried to use the economic-belic agreements of NATO the members of this organization tried to maintain neutrals. With all this comotion, word that USA wanted to seize the oil of Angola started to spread.

With democratic and socio-comunist revolutions happening on the ultramaritime territories of Portugal, the army was deployed on Africa. But communist ideals already spread there. So in protest of starting a new war in another continent, a new coup happened to end fascism in the country.

However the coup was not very effective. Even though there wasn't a civil war, or if we consider a few hours civil war, the country ends up divided in 2 territories. The defenders of capitalism systems, in the north regions, and the defenders of socio-communism, mainly on Alentejo and Algarve. But a territory nicknamed South Margin (of Tagus River) became an highly interest region for the newly formed Portuguese Socialist Republic-
