Did you know most rocket league players do not know how to check their blood pressure properly? Did you know that 100% of players I've asked in rocket league that have shown signs of high blood pressure during a game never said they knew how to check their blood pressure? I'm here to make sure that you all know the correct way to check your blood pressure if you ever experience the signs of high blood pressure while joining the toxic kids in the rocket pool. Boost over ball for life.

Prep Steps

Don’t eat or drink anything 30 minutes before you take your blood pressure.
Empty your bladder before your reading.
Sit in a comfortable chair with your back supported for at least 5 minutes before your reading.
Put both feet flat on the ground and keep your legs uncrossed.
Rest your arm with the cuff on a table at chest height.
Make sure the blood pressure cuff is snug but not too tight. The cuff should be against your bare skin, not over clothing.
Do not talk while your blood pressure is being measured.
DON'T FORGET TO HAVE FUN!

Now it is time to check that blood pressure!

Step 1: Figure out who the patient is. Is it you or your teammate?
Step 2: Properly expose the patient, emotionally and physically.

The blood pressure should be measured during the secondary examination, which begins with exposing the patient. This will ensure that the cuff is placed on the skin and their feelings are hurt. The blood pressure cuff should never be placed over clothing, as doing so will increase pressure on the cuff and produce an inaccurate reading.
Step 3: Properly position your patient. If you are the patient then don't worry your positioning is always immaculate, if the patient is your teammate then you'll need to show them where to be.

The patient should be seated comfortably, with the legs uncrossed. The artery used to measure the blood pressure should be close to the level of the heart, with the arm supported.
Step 4: Select the appropriate cuff.

A cuff should be selected that’s able to completely encircle the patient’s upper arm with 80% of the cuff. If it takes more than 80% of the cuff to encircle the upper arm, the cuff is too small for the patient, and will produce a reading that’s higher than accurate. If it takes less than 80% of the cuff to encircle the upper arm, the cuff is too large, and will produce a reading that’s lower than accurate.
Step 5: Palpate the artery.

With the arm fully extended, feel for the pulsation of the brachial artery. Failure to fully extend the arm will result in difficulty both in locating the artery and in auscultating Korotkoff sounds. In most people, the pulse can be felt at the medial aspect of the antecubital fossa, where the artery comes closest to the skin.
Step 6: Properly position the cuff.

The lower margin of the cuff should be positioned 1 inch above the point where the pulse was located, and should be snug to the arm. In actual practice, it’s difficult to make the cuff too tight to the arm; it’s quite easy to make it too loose. Locate where the bladder is sewn into the cuff, and ensure that the bladder is positioned over the artery in order to properly occlude blood flow when the cuff is inflated.
Step 7: Inflate the cuff to no more than what is necessary to hurt your teammates feelings to avoid hurting them physically.
Step 8: Slowly release the pressure while looking straight-on at the sphygmomanometer.

Looking at the face of the manometer at an angle can result in parallax error–an inaccurate measurement due to optics.

Did you know;

Jokes aside... there is a large amount of people who pretend like "ROCKET LEAGUE," is what is making them angry and not some projection of their life?

I know a lot of rocket league players. They're as good as they are. Without practice, they're going to be as good as they'll ever be... The little things that set them off don't even make sense because it's outside their skill in the first place.

THEY ARE MAD BECAUSE ... you name it... I dunno. It's not rocket league though.
