CONTROLS
Leave any controls I didn't cover in their default value.

Options > Controls > Keyboard > Movement:
  • Crouch Toggle: "C"
Options > Controls > Keyboard > Weapons:
  • Weapon 1: "Q"
  • Weapon 2: "E"
  • Weapon 3. "Mouse Programmable Button #2"
  • Secondary: "Ctrl"
  • Melee Attack: "Mouse Programmable Button #1"
  • Use: "F"
Options > Controls > Keyboard > Inventory:
  • Light: "V"
  • Lighter/Journal: "Scroll Wheel Click”
  • Medkit: "X"
  • Night Vision: "1"
  • Time: "2"
Options > Game Options:
  • Aim Mode: "Toggle"
GAME SETTINGS
Options > Video:
  • Quality: "Very High"
  • SSAA: "Off” (Very Important)
  • Texture Filtering: "AF 16X"
  • Motion Blur: "Off"
  • Tessellation: "Very High"
  • V-Sync: "Off” (Enable through your control panel)
Options > Game Options:
  • Crosshair: "On” (Toggle HUD mod disables this)
  • Hit Markers: "On” (Toggle HUD mod disables this)
  • Subtitles: "On” (Toggle HUD mod disables this)
  • Hints: "On” (Toggle HUD mod disables this)
  • Advanced PhysX: "On"
  • Difficulty: "Hardcore"
CHANGE FOV + DISABLE INTRO
Change FOV:
  • Open your Metro game directory
  • >
  • Open: “User.cfg”
  • >
  • Press: “Ctrl+F”
  • >
  • Search for "r_base_fov" and set it to "59" (Your Preference)
Metro uses vertical FOV, heres a calculator:
Disable Intro:
  • Download Notepad++ (Highly recommend for anybody)
  • https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/
  • >
  • Open your metro directory
  • >
  • Open: "2033"
  • >
  • Right click: "legal.ogv"
  • >
  • Click: "Edit with Notepad++"
  • >
  • Delete everything and press save
DISABLE DOF/BLUR
This is NOT a reshade so it wont hurt fps and wont have overly sharpened textures, It will probably help performance as well!

Before/After:
GLOW SIGHTS/HUD (TOGGLE MOD)
This mod adds an ability to toggle glow sights on your weapon and an option to toggle the HUD.

Hotkeys:
  • Toggle HUD: "Caps"
  • Toggle Glow Sights: "P"
Download the mod from Nexus:
ULTRAWIDE FIX + MOUSE FIX
Ultrawide Fix:
  • Open your Metro game directory
  • >
  • Open: ”User.cfg”
  • >
  • Press: "Ctrl+F"
  • >
  • Search for "r_fullscreen" and set it to "Off"
  • >
  • Search for "r_res_hor" and set it to "3440” (Use your resolution)
  • >
  • Search for "r_res_vert" and set it to "1400” (Use your resolution but minus it by a little to avoid the stretch at the bottom of the screen)
You must download “Borderless Gaming Utility” to achieve true ultrawide without stretching:
Mouse Fix:
NIVIDIA SETTINGS + ENABLE G-SYNC

Use display port if you have a G-Sync monitor and leave any settings in their default value that I didn't cover.

Nividia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Add > Metro:
  • Low Latency Mode: "Ultra” (Set to on, if you dont have gsync)
  • Max Frame Rate: "Off” (If you don't have gsync set it to 1 or 2 fps below your refresh rate)
  • Monitor Technology: "G-sync Compatible” (If you don't have gsync set it to Fixed Refresh Rate)
  • Power Management Mode: "Prefer Maximum Performance"
  • Preferred Refresh Rate: "Highest Available"
  • Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization: "Off'
  • Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias: "Allow"
  • Texture Filtering - Quality: "Quality"
  • Texture Filtering - Trilinear Optimization: "Off"
  • Triple Buffering: "Off"
  • Vertical Sync: "On"
Nividia Control Panel > Display > Change Resolution > Use Nividia Color Settings:
  • Desktop Color Depth: "Highest"
  • Output Color Depth: "Highest"
  • Output Color Format: "RGB"
  • Output Dynamic Range: "Full"
  • Refresh Rate: "Usually 60, 100, 120, or 144” (Your preference)
Nividia Control Panel > Display > Adjust Desktop Color Settings:
  • Color Channel: "All Channels"
  • Digital Vibrance: "50-65” (Your preference)
Nividia Control Panel > Display > Set Up G-Sync:
  • Enable G-Sync, G-Sync Compatible: "Checked, Enable for Windowed and Fullscreen Mode”
  • Display Specific Settings: "Enable Settings for the Selected Display Model"
BONUS
I highly recommend you to use Riva Tuner to cap your fps, heres the link to the tool:
Bonus Content In Metro Last Light:
  • Go to missions and press "Q"

If you're playing 2033, make sure the glow sight mod overwrites everything it says. If you're playing last light, make sure the ini file for the glow sight mod overwrites everything else but the other mods overwrite the rest.
