Gundarson - 8-slot Trinium-tier Mining Ship

This ship is included in the Kelchis Collective Faction Pack.

This mining ship prioritizes storage space, defense, and hangar capacity over cost effectiveness. As a consequence it has a relatively high investment cost to build for a player who has just reached the Trinium tier. The return on investment is high, as the cargo capacity in this vessel makes it ideally suited to long mining missions. It is also generally well armored and shielded, allowing it to survive ambushes that cheaper mining ships could not.

As a strong all-around Trinium tier ship, the Gundarson is suited to being produced en masse as part of a very effective and lucractive midgame mining fleet.

The stock blueprint includes a high capacity hangar but DOES NOT HAVE A TRANSPORTER BLOCK as this technology is not available until the Xanion tier. It is recommended that you add a small transporter block as soon as you unlock Xanion building knowledge to allow your mining fleet to utilize mining fighters.
