SquidBots - Bots for Seeding [NOW PART OF BASE GAME]

Opis
As of v8.1, SquidBots is integrated into Squad's base game for all seeding layers and in the mod SDK. This mod is now longer necessary and will not be updated (the Zeus mod will still be updated).

Bots for Squad - ONLY AFFECTS SEEDING LAYERS

Uses vanilla Squad, no changes to gameplay other than bots.

Works in offline mode, and on multiplayer servers. Cooked for Windows and Linux.

Bots per match can be configured in admin cam (Alt P) - Defaults to 40 bots. Default can be set in SquidBotsDefaultBotCount.cfg

Players automatically replace bots. With the bot count set to 40:

On an empty-ish server
Team 1
3 players
17 bots
Team 2
5 players
15 bots

On a more full server
Team 1
16 players
4 bots
Team 2
18 players
2 bots

Seeding Layers:
  • Sumari_Seed_v1_Bots --- (USA vs RUS)
  • Sumari_Seed_v2_Bots --- (AUS vs INS)
  • Sumari_Seed_v2_Bots --- (USA vs PLA)
  • Tallil_Seed_v1_Bots
  • Fallujah_Seed_v1_Bots
  • Harju_Seed_v1_Bots
  • Mutaha_Seed_v1_Bots

Free For All Layer (Bots a 3rd separate team from players):
  • Sumari_Seed_v1_FFABots

Do not expect these bots to be the holy grail of AI. They're dumb, and they cheat.

Will it be possible in the future to be the commander of your squad with bots and give them orders? Should we expect other updates in the future, or is this mod lost to us forever?

Is there a way to increase bot count? AdminAddBots and AdminSetBotCount are "Not a valid command". I was wanting to increase the bot account to 99 (50v49).

To everyone who is still interested in the mod;

The mod works for me. You just have to choose a map with "adminchangelayer" command. It's okay if it doesn't show any commands with "bots" addition to them, you just gotta input a map name and a game mode name that can seed, the bots will automatically added to the game.

For example, after acquiring all of squidbot mods, just type adminchangelayer Talil_Seed and you're good to go, you'll be able to play against and with bots.
