In the following i will describe how you can use the console to spawn objects in your game.

I used this primarily to get ornaments because a "legal" aquisition takes a lot of time and/or manipulationg your PCs clock. On my second playthrough i wanted a faster way.

You will need SRML (Slime Rancher Mod Loader) to unlock the console.

Mods you download from nexus are generally safe. Nexus has a deal with Virustotal to scan all files that users upload to nexus and filters out anything malicious (https://www.nexusmods.com/news/12378).

As with every mod and use of a console you should back up your save game before you start - just to be safe.
(I used spawning throught the SRML console and use a lot of mods and have not encountered a problem)

The save file location is "%USERPROFILE% \AppData\LocalLow\Monomi Park\Slime Rancher\"
mind the space in "Monomi Park" the folder without a space is for Slime Rancher 2

to enable the console you need to download "SRML" (Slime Rancher Mod Loader) from Nexus.

SRML is the base you need to get any mod for Slime Rancher to work.

Its a seperate installer that will create its own folder inside the game files of Slime Rancher. Without installing other mods into that folder it wont do anything else than enabling the console.

Installation Instructions are on the SRML Mod page and are basically "unzip, run installer".
(if the installer cant find your directory just drop the installer in the games folder (this was "Drive:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Slime Rancher" for me).

Just use the IDs of objects to spawn the items via the games console

1) open console (tap + control or the tilde key)
2) type: spawn [item ID] [amount]
3) click enter
4) optional: enter more commands (dont do too much at once to avoid chaos)
5) click tap + control again to exit the console and go back to the game

[item ID] -> exchange with one of the IDs below
[amount]-> exchange with amount you want, dont go too big to prevent lag or other problems

Ornaments will spawn in a row in a line from the point you are looking at to your face. If the Ornaments have no more space in that row they will stack right in front of your face.

Other objects (plorts, slimes, materials) will spawn in front of you. If you close the console they will have gravity applied to them and potentially fly around or be in the ground. Plorts can fly really far!
